The game was mostly controlled by Wisla Can-Pak. AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski managed to win second period 16-6. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Wisla Can-Pak made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 26 AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski turnovers. Wisla Can-Pak looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski's players. Worth to mention a great performance of center Tina Charles (193-88, college: Connecticut, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. Australian point guard Erin Phillips (173-85) contributed with 11 points, 7 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Wisla Can-Pak's coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nigerian-American guard Chineze Nwagbo (183-82, college: Syracuse) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and international forward Agnieszka Makowska (182-82) added 13 points in the effort for AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski.

The game without a history. CCC Polkowice led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Widzew to just 4 points in fourth quarter and to 13 points in second half. CCC Polkowice held Widzew to an opponent 25.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 47.9 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Widzew 41-28 including 29 on the defensive glass. CCC Polkowice looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Widzew's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigerian-American power forward Nnemkadi Ogwumike (189-90, college: Stanford) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 6 rebounds. The former international center Magdalena Leciejewska (191-86) contributed with 8 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four CCC Polkowice players scored in double figures. Czech center Leona Jankowska (190-77) answered with 13 points and 7 rebounds and forward Aleksandra Pawlak (189-84) added 4 points in the effort for Widzew. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Artego Bydg.'s coach Tomasz Herkt felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
