There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in TBL. There was no lack of interesting games this round. The round ended with defeat of the leader, favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked PGE Turow (15-6) in Starogard on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by eighth ranked Polpharma (10-11) 85-79. The hosts trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 85-79. Polpharma made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 PGE Turow turnovers. 24 personal fouls committed by PGE Turow helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American power forward Ben McCauley (206-86, college: N.Carolina St.) stepped up and scored 25 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and naturalized Belgian center Aleksander Lichodzijewski (202-84) chipped in 13 points and 11 rebounds. The best for the losing side was the former international point guard Michal Chylinski (190-86, agency: Interperformances) with 22 points. Polpharma moved-up to seventh place, which they share with AZS Koszalin. PGE Turow at the other side still keeps top position with six games lost. Polpharma is looking forward to face higher ranked Asseco Prok. (#4) in Gdynia in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. PGE Turow will play at home against Stelmet ZG in Zielona Gora and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Asseco Prok. (14-7) against fourth ranked Trefl Sopot (14-7) on Saturday night. Visiting Asseco Prok. was defeated by Trefl Sopot in Sopot 78-65. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Asseco Prok.. Antiguan-American power forward Kurt Looby (208-84, college: Iowa) nailed 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and Frank Turner accounted for 14 points and 4 assists.
