Hosley
The Regular Season in TBL just ended.

The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of PGE Turow (15-7) in Zgorzelec on Friday night. Hosts were edged by Stelmet ZG (15-7) 91-89. It was a key game for the top position in the league as both teams had the same 14-7 record before this meeting. PGE Turow was trailing by 10 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 27-24 charge of Stelmet ZG, which allowed them to win the game. American-Georgian swingman Quinton Hosley (201-84, college: Fresno St.) fired 24 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Serbian power forward Dejan Borovnjak (207-86, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Naturalized French forward Aaron Cel (203-87) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds for lost side. Stelmet ZG keeps a position of league leader, which they share with PGE Turow and Asseco Prok.
Very important is a road loss of second ranked Trefl Sopot (14-8) against ninth ranked Siarka Jezioro (9-13) on Friday night. Visiting Trefl Sopot was defeated by Siarka Jezioro in Tarnobrzeg 92-78. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Trefl Sopot. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Dawid Przybyszewski (215-81, college: Vanderbilt) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds. J.T. Tiller contributed with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Antiguan-American power forward Kurt Looby (208-84, college: Iowa) replied with 16 points and 8 rebounds for Trefl Sopot. Trefl Sopot's coach Mariusz Niedbalski rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Siarka Jezioro maintains ninth position with 9-13 record. Trefl Sopot at the other side dropped to the fourth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Anwil.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Wloclawek. Local Anwil (14-8) outscored 12th ranked Start Gdynia (5-17) 87-55 on Friday night. Marcus Ginyard scored 18 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners. At the losing side Robert Rothbart responded with 17 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Anwil moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Trefl Sopot. Start Gdynia lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 17 games lost.

Rest of the games of round 22 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Kotwica was defeated by Rosa Radom in a road game 95-85. Energa Czarni beat AZS Koszalin at home 85-77. Polpharma was destroyed by Asseco Prok. on the opponent's court 88-64.
