The Regular Season in TBL just ended.

The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of PGE Turow (15-7) in Zgorzelec on Friday night. Hosts were edged by Stelmet ZG (15-7) 91-89. It was a key game for the top position in the league as both teams had the same 14-7 record before this meeting. PGE Turow was trailing by 10 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 27-24 charge of Stelmet ZG, which allowed them to win the game. American-Georgian swingman Quinton Hosley (201-84, college: Fresno St.) fired 24 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Asseco Prok. - Polpharma 88-64

Rather expected game in Gdynia where 7th ranked Polpharma (10-12) was rolled over by fourth ranked Asseco Prok. (15-7) 88-64 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 88-64. Asseco Prok. dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Polpharma's 26 and made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Polpharma 38-26 including a 29-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international Przemyslaw Zamojski (194-86, college: Independence CC, agency: Alti Sport) had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Austrian-Slovenian center Rasid Mahalbasic (211-90) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Five Asseco Prok. players scored in double figures. At the losing side American power forward Ben McCauley (206-86, college: N.Carolina St.) responded with 19 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Jawan Carter (180-87, college: Delaware) scored 16 points and 4 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
