Pawel
Kikowski
Betaland Capo d'Orlando (Serie A) landed 31-year old Polish international swingman Pawel Kikowski (193-86). He started the season at King Szczecin in Polish PLK league. Kikowski has played there for the last three years. In 29 PLK games he averaged 14.0ppg, 2.3rpg and 2.2apg this season. The last season he played also at Wilki Morskie (TBL) in Polish league where in 36 games he had 14.3ppg, 2.5rpg and 2.4apg. It was a very successful season in his career as he was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Polish League Honorable Mention and All-Domestic Players Team.
Among other achievements Kikowski's team won Polish Cup in 2009 and 2014. He received also Eurobasket.com All-Polish 1Liga Player of the Year award and Eurobasket.com All-Polish 1Liga 1st Team award back in 2013.
Kikowski has been a member of Polish international program for some years. He has been regularly called to Polish senior team since 2009 and previously for U20 National Team in 2006.
Kikowski has played previously professionally also in Slovenia (Un.Olimpija) and Poland (Slask, Kotwica, Energa Czarni, Swiecie and Trefl II Sopot).
His game is described as: Pawel is a member of the Polish Mens National team and was voted to the Polish All-Star Game in 2008... he is one of the most promising and talented young players in Poland... naturaly a shooting guard but who also can play some minutes on the small forward position because of his physical abilities... tremendous athlete with great leaping ability. extremely versatile on offense, possesses all the tools to beat his defender and to score, high percentage 3-point range as well as middle range jump shots, floating lay-ups, and dunks. he's an exceptional defender who can stop dribble penetration, while also working the passing lanes for steals.... on top of his talent he shows super work ethics, always staying after practice to work on his ballhandling, one-on-one, or just shooting.
