There was no lack of excitement in the last round games. The round ended with favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

Tenth-ranked Energa Czarni (12-11) gave a tough game to first ranked Stelmet (17-6) in Zielona Gora on Sunday. Stelmet managed to secure only two-point victory 81-79. However their fans expected much easier game. 24 personal fouls committed by Energa Czarni helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Montenegrin power forward Vladimir Dragicevic (206-86) scored 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international swingman Thomas Kelati (195-82, college: Washington St., agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Stelmet's coach Artur Gronek used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side American swingman Marcus Ginyard (196-87, college: N.Carolina) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Defending champion maintains first position with 17-6 record. Energa Czarni at the other side dropped to the eleventh place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Trefl Sopot. Stelmet are looking forward to face Polpharma (#10) in Starogard in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Very important is a home loss of third ranked Twarde Pierniki (16-8) against eleventh ranked Wilki Morskie (13-11) on Sunday night. Host Twarde Pierniki was crushed by Wilki Morskie in Torun 87-65. Michal Nowakowski (202-88) notched 16 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and Russell Robinson supported him with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Wilki Morskie's coach Marek Lukomski felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 12 points and 5 rebounds by power forward Krzysztof Sulima (202-90) did not help to save the game for Twarde Pierniki. Wilki Morskie moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Twarde Pierniki lost third consecutive game. They keep the third position with eight games lost. They share it with Stal Ostrow. Wilki Morskie will play against higher ranked Rosa (#5) in Radom in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
