The best player for the winners was power forward Tomasz Wojdyla (201-77) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. American forward Alex Welsh (200-94, college: Colorado Springs) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. The former international swingman Pawel Kikowski (193-86) produced 16 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Wilki Morskie's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Stabill maintains seventeenth place with 4-21 record. Wilki Morskie at the other side dropped to the tenth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Krosno and Polpharma. Stabill are looking forward to face higher ranked MKS Dabrowa Gornicza (#7) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Wilki Morskie will play against Polpharma and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

International swingman Karol Gruszecki (193-89, college: Texas Arlington) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 6 rebounds. Vladimir Dragicevic contributed with 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American center Darrell Harris (205-84, college: Rhode Island) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 16 rebounds for AZS Koszalin. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Stelmet have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 19-6 record. AZS Koszalin at the other side keeps the fourteenth position with 17 games lost. Stelmet will play against Asseco (#13) in Gdynia in the next round which should be an easy win for them. AZS Koszalin will play at home against Stal Ostrow Wlkp. and hopes to get back on the winning track.

They maintain second place with 18-7 record behind leader Stelmet ZG. Loser TBV Start keeps the fifteenth position with 17 games lost. Anwil will face Asseco (#13) in Gdynia in the next round which should be another easy win for them. TBV Start will play at home against PGE Turow and hope to win that game.

Other games of round 23 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Asseco was crushed by PGE Turow in Zgorzelec 100-79. Torun beat Krosno at home 78-74. MKS DG lost to Trefl Sopot on the opponent's court 68-79. Stal Ostrow outscored Polfarmex Kutno in a home game 89-64.

PGE Turow - Asseco 100-79

There was no surprise in Zgorzelec where 13th ranked Asseco (9-15) was crushed by seventh ranked PGE Turow (14-11) 100-79 on Sunday. PGE Turow made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. Asseco was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Serbian center Uros Nikolic (207-87, agency: BeoExcell) who scored 21 points and 9 rebounds. Ukrainian-American forward Denis Ikovlev (200-86, college: Nevada) chipped in 15 points and 5 assists. The former international guard Marcel Ponitka (192-97) produced 10 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international forward Piotr Szczotka (196-81, agency: Alti Sport) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five PGE Turow and four Asseco players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. PGE Turow moved-up to sixth place. Asseco lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with 15 games lost. PGE Turow will face TBV Start (#15) in Lublin in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Asseco will play at home against the league's second-placed Anwil and hope to win that game.

His fellow American import power forward David Kravish (208-92, college: California) accounted for 11 points for the winning side. International swingman Michal Sokolowski (196-92) came up with 14 points and 9 rebounds and American power forward Darnell Jackson (206-85, college: Kansas) added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Rosa in the defeat. Rosa's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Energa Czarni moved-up to seventh place, which they share with MKS DG and Trefl Sopot. No shocking result in a game in Torun where fourth ranked Twarde Pierniki (17-8) defeated 7th ranked Krosno (13-12) 78-74 on Saturday. It was a great shooting night for Twarde Pierniki especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. The best player for the winners was American-Hungarian point guard Obadiah Trotter (188-84, college: Alabama A&M) who scored 18 points. Aleks Perka (200-87, college: Rice, agency: Promotex) chipped in 16 points. Point guard Dawid Brek (188-89, agency: Promotex) produced 11 points and 4 assists and American guard Devante Wallace (196-92, college: High Point) added 11 points respectively for the guests. Four Krosno players scored in double figures. Twarde Pierniki moved-up to third place, which they share with Stal Ostrow. Krosno lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the tenth position with 12 games lost. Twarde Pierniki will face Energa Czarni (#8) in Slupsk in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Krosno will play at home against Trefl and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
