Szwed
The Regular Season in 1Liga just started. There was no lack of interesting games this round. The round ended with loss of the undefeated team and favorites losing the games.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Slask (0-1) in Kutno on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Polfarmex (1-0) 86-74. Polfarmex shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Power forward Mateusz Szwed (198-91) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and swingman Mateusz Zebski (190-92) chipped in 11 points and 7 assists. Polfarmex's coach Jaroslaw Krysiewicz used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Maciej Krakowczyk (200-96) responded with 17 points. Polfarmex is looking forward to face Enea Astoria (#9) in Bydgoszcz in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Slask will play at home against Nysa Klodzko (#13) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
Very significant was Biofarm PZN's (#6) 20-point road victory against Kotwica 69-49. Center Adam Metelski (206-83, college: Cal-Irvine) nailed 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and Jakub Fiszer accounted for 10 points and 6 rebounds. Biofarm PZN's coach Przemyslaw Szurek allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Daniel Grujic (201-90) came up with 4 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for Kotwica in the defeat. Biofarm PZN will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Kotwica will play on the road against SKK Siedlce (#16) to get more than just one victory in their record.
An interesting game took place in Stargard where Pruszkow (0-1) was upset on the court of Spojnia (1-0) 85-65 on Saturday. Marcin Dymala fired 18 points and 5 assists for the winners. Adrian Kordalski produced 15 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Spojnia will meet R8 Krakow (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Pruszkow will play against Notec Inowr. (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game took place in Krakow where KK Warszawa (0-1) was upset on the court of R8 Krakow (1-0) 84-58. Worth to mention a great performance of Michael Hicks who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. R8 Krakow's next round opponent will be Spojnia (#8) in Stargard and are hoping to win another game. KK Warszawa will play on the road against Sokol Lancut and hope to win that game.
Notec Inowr. (0-1) was outscored at home by Polonia Leszno (1-0) with the biggest margin this round 102-58 on Sunday night. Kamil Chanas stepped up and scored 18 points and 4 steals for the winners. Polonia Leszno will face Siarka (#15) in Tarnobrzeg in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Notec Inowr. will play on the road against Pruszkow (#14) and hope to win that game.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 1: Sokol Lancut won against Nysa Klodzko on the opponent's court 80-75. Pogon Prudnik managed to outperform SKK Siedlce in a home game 76-64. GKS Tychy managed to beat Siarka on the road 81-72.
