Austria and Portugal played their last test game before the start of the 2013 EuroBasket Qualifiers. Austria proved the strength. Jason Detrick (198-G-80, agency: Court Side, college: Oklahoma) scored 14 points to lead the winners.
Portugal got to a slightly better start to the game. They earned a 17:15 lead after ten minutes. Austria quickly bounced back. They denied the deficit and recorded a 34:33 halftime lead. Austria held their opponents to just 7 points in the third term to boost the lead to 4 points at the final break. Austria exploded with 21 points in the fourth quarter and snatched victory at the end. Rasid Mahalbasic (210-F/C-90) produced 11 points, while Thomas Klepeisz (188-G-91, agency: TSS Management) added 10 points for Austria. Claudio Fonseca (206-C-89) and Joao Gomes (199-F-85) produced 11 points each for Portugal.

Academia do Lumiar Lisboa (Proliga) added to their roster experienced 40-year old swingman Seco Camara (195-93kg-76, college: G.Washington).
