It's still too early stage of the Regular Season in Proliga, but even now we can clearly see the differece between stronger teams and outsiders.

Bottom-ranked Benfica B (0-3) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 69-62 loss to top-ranked Maia Basket (4-0) in Lisboa on Sunday evening. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. Benfica B trailed by 18 points after 3 quarters before a 20-9 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 62-69 at the end of the game. Maia Basket made 16-of-16 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. Maia Basket forced 23 Benfica B turnovers. Center Paulo Diamantino (203-C-85) fired 24 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Nuno Marcal (205-75) chipped in 22 points and 6 rebounds. Andre Miguens (184-94) produced 14 points for lost side.
