We bring you last week's top performances from Portuguese players who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

   #1. best in steals with 4.2spg. She also averaged so far 8.0ppg, 6.4rpg, 2.4apg, 2FGP: 43.0%, 3FGP: 6.7% and FT: 79.4% in the 13 games she played so far. Andrade played for the Portuguese senior national team four years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to an international guard Carla Nascimento (171-86, currently plays in Spain). She led Al-Qazeres to a victory against the sixth-ranked Real Celta Vigo (5-7) 72-67 in the Spanish LF2 (12th division) last Saturday. Nascimento recorded 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. CB Al-Qazeres (8-3) is placed third in Group A. It was her team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. Nascimento belongs to league's best passers and is ranked #4. She has very reliable stats this season: 10.3ppg, 5.5rpg, 3.5apg, 1.5spg, 2FGP: 40.4%, 3FGP: 38.1% and FT: 85.2%. Nascimento is in the roster of the Portuguese senior national team.

   #3. The Portuguese player who performed third best last week abroad was an experienced international guard Carla Freitas (170-80, currently plays in Spain). She led Orion-GDKO to a victory over the ninth-ranked Segle XXI (4-9) 63-53 in the Spanish LF2 (12th division) on Saturday night. Freitas was MVP of the game. She scored 17 points in 23 minutes. Orion-GDKO Ibaizabal Galdakao (8-5) is placed fourth in Group B. It's Freitas' first season with the team. Freitas has relatively good stats this year: 12.2ppg, 3.6rpg, 1.3apg, 1.2spg, 3FGP: 40.4% and FT: 37.5% in the 13 games. She is also a member of the Portuguese senior national team.

   #4. Center Sonia Borges dos Reis (189-84, currently plays in Spain), who plays in the Spanish LFB could not help Hondarribia-Irun (5-8) to beat Conquero (4-9). Borges dos Reis scored 6 points. Hondarribia-Irun was edged 81-80 on the road by the one of league's weakest teams Conquero (#10). This season Borges dos Reis averages: 6.6ppg and 3.2rpg. She has a dual citizenship: Portuguese and Spanish. Borges dos Reis used to play for the Portuguese national team back in 2010.

   #1. Cesaria Ambrosio (180-F-95, currently plays in Switzerland) led Ovronnaz-Martigny Basket to a victory against the league outsider Highflyers (1-14) 74-65 in the Swiss LNA last Saturday. She scored 13 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 21 minutes. Ovronnaz-Martigny Basket (10-5) is placed third in the LNA. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This year Ambrosio's overall stats are: 7.7ppg, 3.3rpg, 1.7apg and 2.9spg in the 15 games she played so far. She has a dual citizenship: Portuguese and Swiss.

   #2. Silvia Fortunato managed to help TSVE Lady Dolphins Bielefeld to win against the seventh-ranked Hannover (7-9) 70-69 in the German 2.Bundesliga (12th division) on Saturday night. Fortunato recorded only 3 points. TSVE Lady Dolphins Bielefeld (4-10) is placed ninth in North group. Fortunato's overall stats this season are: 4.0ppg, 3.9rpg and 1.6spg.

CS Phoenix Constanta (Liga I) agreed terms with 25-year old American power forward Jassany Williams (188-92, college: Miami, FL). She played last season at Uniao Sportiva in Portuguese Liga Feminina, but left. In 7 games she had 5.3ppg, 9.4rpg, 1.1apg, 1.6spg and 1.3bpg. The previous (15-16) season Williams played at BC Alte Kanti Aarau in Swiss LNA where in 13 games she recorded 14.2ppg, 12.5rpg (leader !!!), 1.7spg and 3.9bpg. 28-year old shooting guard Marcia Costa (173-SG-89) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked GDESSA and receives a Player of the Week award for round 3. She had the game-high 22 points adding seven rebounds and six assists for GDESSA in her team's victory, helping them to beat Benfica (#8, 1-2) in overtime 86-81. There were just three rounds played in Regular Season of Liga Femenina and we can clearly see which teams will fight for top positions and which will try to avoid bottom places. The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with loss of the undefeated team and extra overtimes.
