The game between third ranked Galitos-Barreiro (11-4) and fifth ranked Oliveirense (10-5) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Galitos-Barreiro was defeated by Oliveirense in Oliveira 62-74. It was a good game for Spanish power forward Sergi Coll (204-82) who led his team to a victory with 13 points and 6 rebounds. American power forward Justin Reynolds (206-88, college: Texas A&M-CC) contributed with 10 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Oliveirense's coach Ricardo Rodrigues used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international swingman Carlos Ferreirinho (201-91) answered with 18 points for Galitos-Barreiro. Oliveirense maintains fifth place with 10-5 record. Galitos-Barreiro at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. They share it with Vitoria SC. Oliveirense are looking forward to face Electrico FC (#9) in Ponte de Sor in the next round. Galitos-Barreiro will play on the road against Vitoria SC (#4) in Guimaraes and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
LPB top team - Benfica (12-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Maia Basket (3-12) 89-66. It was a great evening for American power forward Raven Barber (206, college: Mt.St.Mary's) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Carlos Morais helped adding 11 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was point guard Pedro Catarino (184-90) with 21 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Benfica have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 12-3 record, which they share with FC Porto. Maia Basket at the other side dropped to the tenth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Lusitania. Benfica will play against Illiabum (#6) in Ilhavo in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Maia Basket will play at home against Lusitania (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Funchal supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Vitoria SC (11-4) played at the court of 7th ranked CAB Madeira (7-8). Vitoria SC smashed CAB Madeira 89-67 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for Andrew Ferry who led the winners and scored 25 points. Alex Marzette came up with 19 points and 7 rebounds for CAB Madeira in the defeat. Vitoria SC have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Galitos-Barreiro. Loser CAB Madeira keeps the seventh position with eight games lost. They share it with Ovarense. Vitoria SC will meet at home Galitos-Barreiro (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. CAB Madeira will play against the league's second-placed FC Porto Ferpinta (#2) and hope to secure a win.
Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Illiabum (9-6) and Electrico FC (4-11), which took place in Ponte de Sor. Higher ranked Illiabum lost to tenth ranked Electrico FC in a road game 85-90. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Illiabum. The best player for the winners was Tiago Pinto who scored 25 points and 4 assists. Illiabum's coach Ricardo Vasconcelos rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Electrico FC moved-up to ninth place. Newly promoted Illiabum keeps the sixth position with six games lost. Electrico FC's next round opponent will be higher ranked Oliveirense (#5) in Oliveira and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.

Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Benfica. Sampaense lost their sixth game in a row. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom place with 14 games lost. FC Porto Ferpinta will face CAB Madeira (#8) in Funchal in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sampaense will play on the road against Ovarense (#7) and hope to win that game.

In the last game of round 15 Ovarense beat Lusitania on the road 78-73.
The most impressive performance of 15th round was 20 points and 6 assists by Bradley Tinsley of FC Porto.

The game between 12th ranked Sampaense (1-14) and second ranked FC Porto Ferpinta (12-3) in Coimbra on Sunday ended with biggest points difference. Guests from Porto outscored Sampaense 121-59. FC Porto Ferpinta made 26-of-31 free shots (83.9 percent) during the game. FC Porto Ferpinta forced 23 Sampaense turnovers and outrebounded them 41-23 including 27 on the defensive glass. FC Porto Ferpinta looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Sampaense was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch.
