There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in LPB. The round 21 was rather boring as all games ended with very predictable results.

LPB top team - FC Porto Ferpinta (18-3) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat sixth ranked Illiabum (12-9) in Ilhavo 81-67. FC Porto Ferpinta made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. FC Porto Ferpinta outrebounded Illiabum 35-24 including 23 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for American-Liberian guard Thomas Bropleh (196-91, college: Boise St., agency: Duran International) who led his team to a victory with 15 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Serbian power forward Sasa Borovnjak (206-89, college: Penn St., agency: 011 Sports) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Serbian power forward Nikola Tadic (206-88) answered with 16 points and 6 rebounds for Illiabum. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. FC Porto Ferpinta have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 18-3 record. Illiabum lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. They share it with CAB Madeira. FC Porto Ferpinta is looking forward to face Maia Basket (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Illiabum will play against Vitoria SC (#3) in Guimaraes and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
The game between fourth ranked Oliveirense (15-6) and 12th ranked Sampaense (3-18) in Oliveira ended with biggest points difference. Oliveirense outscored guests from Coimbra 74-53. Spanish power forward Sergi Coll (204-82) stepped up and scored 11 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and Justin Reynolds chipped in 7 points and 8 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American guard Andrew Guillory (190, college: Arkansas Tech) with 12 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Oliveirense moved-up to third place, which they share with Vitoria SC. Newly promoted Sampaense stay at the bottom position with 18 games lost. They share it with Maia Basket. Oliveirense will play against Ovarense (#8) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Sampaense will play against Lusitania (#9) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 21: Ovarense beat Maia Basket on the road 72-62. Electrico FC lost to Vitoria SC on its own court 71-77. Galitos-Barreiro unfortunately lost to Benfica in a road game 57-69. CAB Madeira managed to beat Lusitania at home 96-79.
The most impressive performance of 21th round was 18 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists by Joao Lanzinha of Electrico FC.

Maia Basket - Ovarense 62-72

No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Ovarense (10-11) beat on the road 11th ranked Maia Basket (3-18) 72-62. They outrebounded Maia Basket 46-26 including a 37-21 advantage in defensive rebounds.
