U-Mobitelco was ahead by 4 points at the halftime before a 45-35 second half run of Targu Mures. U-Mobitelco was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American guard Calvin Watson (197-85, college: N.Texas, agency: Court Side) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points and 4 assists. The former international power forward Virgil Stanescu (208-77, college: S.Alabama, agency: Interperformances) helped adding 16 points and 8 rebounds. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Ploiesti dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Oradea's 32. The best player for the winners was the former international center Catalin Burlacu (210-77, agency: Court Side) who scored 21 points and 6 rebounds.
