Bosnia and Herzegovina won over Romania in Sarajevo in front of 6000 fans to qualify to Eurobasket 2013.The winning side improved to 6-2 record, while Romanian fell at 1-6.
Bosnia and Herzegovina felt the home support and started the game with 25-12. Moreover they erupted with 32-12 in the second frame and enjoyed 57:24 lead at the halftime. Elmedin Kikanovic (210-C-88, agency: Beo Basket) scored four in a rwo in the start of the third period as Bosnia added 21-20 in the period. They also won the last stanza 15-14 and will head to Slovenia 2013.
Mirza Teletovic (206-F-85, agency: Beo Basket) top-scored for the winners with 15 points, while Zack Wright (188-G-85, college: Central Mo.) , Nihad Djedovic (198-F-90, agency: Beo Basket) and Nemanja Mitrovic (195-G-90, college: Portland) posted 12 each. Elmedin Kikanovic followed them with 10 points in a win. Ionut Dragusin (221-C-85) ended up with 17 points in the losing effort and Mihai Silvasan (200-SF-85, agency: Court Side) delivered 15. Andrei Mandache (191-G/F-87, agency: Global Sports Plaza) scored 10 points in defeat.

The round 17 was rather boring as all games ended with very predictable results. Liga Nationala top team - UBT Cluj Napoca (13-2) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed eleventh ranked Olimpic (1-15) in Baia Mare 91-62. The game without a history. SCM CSU Craiova (Liga Nationala) tabbed 32-year old American power forward Christopher Lee (206-85, college: South Carolina State). He played most recently at ES Rades in Tunisian Division I. The previous (14-15) season Lee played at CSU Sibiu where in 24 Liga Nationala games he averaged 12.5ppg, 8.7rpg and 1.3apg. He helped them to make it to the Romanian Cup Semifinals.
