American Tiffany Brown (165-G-86) had a great game in the last round for Timisoara and that's her to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 9. The 26-year old guard had the game-high 34 points adding six rebounds and four assists for Timisoara in her team's victory, helping them to crush Alba Iulia (#6, 4-4) with 18-point margin 76-58. Timisoara maintains the 4th position in Romanian Division A. They are still close to the very top. Timisoara would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 7-1 record. In the team's last game Brown had a remarkable 70.0% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. She turned to be Timisoara's top player in her first season with the team. Georgia Southern graduate has very impressive stats this year. Brown is in league's top in points (4th best: 19.4ppg), assists (8th best: 3.5apg) and averages solid 4.5spg,56.9% FGP and 41.2% from behind 3-point line.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young forward Flavia Ferenczi (175-F-91) of Cluj Napoca. Ferenczi impressed basketball fans with 34 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Bad luck as Cluj Napoca lost that game 62-74 to slightly higher-ranked Rapid (#10, 3-5). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Cluj Napoca dropped in the standings to 12th position. 5 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Cluj Napoca managed to get this year. Ferenczi is one of the most experienced players at Cluj Napoca and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.7ppg (#2).
The third best performed player last round was American Mekia Valentine (193-F/C-88, agency: Merit Sports) of Sf.Gheorghe (#5). Valentine scored 15 points and grabbed seventeen rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of Sf.Gheorghe, leading her team to a 66-53 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Alexandria (#7, 4-4). Sf.Gheorghe needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 2 lost games. Valentine has a great season in Romania. After only 8 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.8rpg (5th best). She also has 2.0bpg and FGP: 58.8%.

We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
