American forward Jordan Glynn (200-F-89, agency: I.D.S. Law) had a very impressive game in the last round for Timba Timis., receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 23-year old player had a double-double of 26 points and 16 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Dinamo B. (#15, 0-10) with 30-point margin 100-70. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on the top of the standings. Timba Timis. maintains the 13th position in Romanian Division A. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 7 games and recorded just three victories. It was one of impressive evenings for Glynn as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Former Stephen F. Austin State University star has very solid stats this year. Glynn is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 8.6rpg) and averages impressive 54.9% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 28-year old American Louis Darby (196-G-84) of Rovinari. Darby had a very good evening with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Of course Rovinari cruised to a 96-88 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked CSM Bucuresti (7-3). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Rovinari consolidated its place in top 4 of the standings. His team's 7-3 record is not bad at all. Darby is well-known at Rovinari and is a proven leader in his second season with the team. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.6ppg (#3). He also registered 6.0 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Montenegrin guard Goran Martinic (184-PG-87, agency: BeoExcell) of league's second-best CSM Bucuresti. Martinic scored 28 points and passed seven assists. Despite Martinic's great performance CSM Bucuresti lost 88-96 to #4 ranked Rovinari. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing CSM Bucuresti needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 7 victories and 3 lost games. Martinic has a great season in Romania. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 24.2ppg (best scorer) and assists with 4.5apg (8th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Christopher Lee (206-C-84) of CSU Sibiu - 19 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists
5. David Steffel (212-C/F-85) of Rovinari - 20 points and 11 rebounds
6. Virgil Stanescu (208-C/F-77) of Ploiesti - 23 points and 4 rebounds
7. Jevohn Shepherd (196-F-86) of CSM Bucuresti - 22 points and 7 rebounds
8. Deven Mitchell (197-F-84) of Gaz Metan - 22 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Alex Johnson (178-PG-88) of Timba Timis. - 11 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists
10. Devon Austin (198-F-87) of CSU Sibiu - 29 points and 4 rebounds

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
