There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in Division A. The round 15 was rather boring as all games ended with very predictable results.

Division A top team - Oradea (14-1) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat fifth ranked Craiova (10-5) 83-74. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Craiova. Oradea looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for American point guard William Franklin (183-85, college: Bradley) who led his team to a victory with 14 points and 7 assists. Serbian forward Milos Pesic (205-84) contributed with 14 points and 5 assists for the winners. American guard Travis Bureau (200-88, college: La-Lafayette, agency: SDJ Sports) answered with 24 points and 6 rebounds for Craiova. Oradea have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place with 14-1 record. Craiova at the other side keeps the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with CSM Bucuresti. Oradea are looking forward to face Pitesti (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Craiova will play against Timba Timosoara (#13) in Timisoara and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
Bottom-ranked CS Dinamo Bucuresti is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 15th consecutive match to tenth ranked Rovinari (8-7) 86-63. It was a great evening for Serbian guard Stefan Nikolic (193-87) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Louis Darby helped adding 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was forward Leonard Filip (200-93) with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rovinari moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Gaz Metan. CS Dinamo Bucuresti lost their fifteenth game in a row. They still closes the standings with 15 games lost. Rovinari will play against CSU Sibiu (#10) on the road in the next round. CS Dinamo Bucuresti will play against U-Mobitelco (#7) in Cluj and hopes to get finally their first victory.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 15: CSM Bucuresti beat CSU Sibiu on the road 87-74. Ploiesti won against Giurgiu on its own court 91-84. Farul Const. unfortunately lost to Timisoara in a road game 79-97. Miercurea Ciuc recorded a loss to Targu Mures at home 69-82. U.Mobitel.CN defeated Pitesti on the opponent's court 77-72. Gaz Metan smashed Timba Timis. in a home game 72-51.
The most impressive performance of 15th round was 27 points and 11 rebounds by Perry Petty of Giurgiu.


Oradea - Craiova 83-74

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked CSM Bucuresti (10-5) beat on the road 11th ranked CSU Sibiu (7-8) 87-74. The game was mostly controlled by CSM Bucuresti. CSU Sibiu was better in third quarter 23-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for CSM Bucuresti especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. It was a great evening for Montenegrin point guard Goran Martinic (184-87, agency: BeoExcell) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points and 4 assists (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). Canadian forward Jevohn Shepherd (196-86, college: Michigan) helped adding 17 points and 10 rebounds. Five CSM Bucuresti players scored in double figures.
