There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in Division A.

Timisoara was defeated by Targu Mures at home 77-67. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Timisoara. Worth to mention a great performance of Lithuanian guard Gediminas Navickas (180-84) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and the former international center Dan Paltinisanu (208-79, agency: Court Side) who added 15 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Bosnian point guard Zlatko Jovanovic (181-84, agency: Beo Basket) responded with 26 points. Targu Mures have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Timisoara and Ploiesti. Targu Mures is looking forward to face Ploiesti (#4) at home in the next round. Timisoara will play against CSM Bucuresti and is hoping to win this game.
The game between Top Four teams took place in Timisoara. Second ranked host Timisoara (12-4) defeated one of their biggest challengers Ploiesti (12-4) 103-91. The winners were led by Bosnian point guard Zlatko Jovanovic (181-84, agency: Beo Basket) who scored that evening 26 points and 9 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and Dominique Archie supported him with 20 points and 7 rebounds. Even 17 points and 8 rebounds by the former international center Catalin Burlacu (210-77, agency: Court Side) did not help to save the game for Ploiesti. Timisoara have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 12-4 record having just three points less than leader Oradea, which they share with Targu Mures and Ploiesti. Timisoara will play against CSM Bucuresti (#5) on the road in the next round. Ploiesti will play against Targu Mures and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Bottom-ranked CS Dinamo Bucuresti (0-16) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 16th consecutive match to seventh ranked U-Mobitelco (10-6) 79-58. CS Dinamo Bucuresti at the other side still closes the standings. U-Mobitelco's next round opponent will be CSU Sibiu (#10) at home.
