Rade Dzambic
Experienced Serbian Rade Dzambic (188-G-80, agency: TSS Management) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's second-best Craiova and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 21.
The 32-year old guard got a double-double of 21 points and ten assists, while his team crushed CSU Sibiu (#10, 10-11) with 22-point margin 90-68. Craiova maintains the 2nd position in Romanian Division A. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Craiova will need more victories to improve their 16-5 record. In the team's last game Dzambic had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Craiova's top player in his first season with the team. New York Institute of Technology graduate has very impressive stats this year. Dzambic is in league's top in assists (2nd best: 7.0apg).

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 24-year old American guard Jaytonah Wisseh (185-G-88) of Rovinari. Wisseh impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 25 points and 10 assists. Of course he lead Rovinari to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Timba Timis. (#13, 5-16) 102-78. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the top position in . Rovinari keeps 9th position. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 11-10 record is not bad and everything may still change. Wisseh is a newcomer at Rovinari and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Christopher Lee (206-C-84, agency: Duran International) of CSU Sibiu (#10). Lee showcased his all-around game by recording 16 points, ten rebounds and five assists in the last round. Despite Lee's great performance CSU Sibiu lost 68-90 to the higher-ranked Craiova (#2, 16-5). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of CSU Sibiu ranking at the top of , however are very questionable as they have already lost 11 games, recording just ten victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Lee could help CSU Sibiu to bring them higher in the standings. Lee has a great season in Romania. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.4rpg (#1 in league). He also has 1.8bpg and FGP: 51.6%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Louis Darby (196-G-84) of Rovinari - 22 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Jordan Glynn (200-F-89) of Timba Timis. - 18 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists
6. Catalin Burlacu (210-C-77) of Ploiesti - 19 points, 17 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Alin Sipos (204-C-89) of Dinamo B. - 13 points and 12 rebounds
8. Brian Fisher (191-G-88) of Dinamo B. - 31 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Stephen Sir (195-G-82) of CSM Bucuresti - 23 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Darko Habus (187-PG-82) of Craiova - 21 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
