Liga I is at the halfway of the Second Stage and there are still another 5 rounds left.
The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Stiinta B. (3-1) in Chiajna on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by Concordia (4-0) 94-67. It was a key game for the top position in I as both teams had the same 3-0 record before this meeting. Concordia maintains first place in I with 4-0 record, which they share with Steaua. Newly promoted Stiinta B. keeps the second position with one game lost. Concordia is looking forward to face Rapid Bucuresti (#5) at home in the next round. Stiinta B. will play against Phoenix Corona Brasov and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
