Serbian Slobodan Dundjerski (188-G-88) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Dinamo B. and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 18.
The 28-year old guard got a double-double of 19 points and eleven assists, while his team edged out Craiova (#9, 4-12) 88-86. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Dinamo B. maintains the 10th position in Romanian Liga Nationala. The season is in a full swing, so it's only a dream for the team to make it into top half of the standings. For contrary they may face relegation if the situation turns from bad to worse. Dinamo B. have already lost 13 games and recorded just four victories. In the team's last game Dundjerski had a remarkable three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be Dinamo B.'s top player in his first season with the team. Dundjerski has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in assists (2nd best: 7.4apg) and averages solid 51.3% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 31-year old American swingman Jonte Flowers (196-F/G-85) of BC Timisoara. Flowers impressed basketball fans with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. It was enough for BC Timisoara to edge slightly lower-ranked Phoenix Galati (#8, 6-11) by 3 points 90-87. BC Timisoara's 6th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 10-7 record is not bad and everything may still change. Flowers is a newcomer at BC Timisoara and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Montenegrin Goran Martinic (187-PG-87) of Targu Mures (#7). Martinic scored 21 points and passed nine assists. He was a key player of Targu Mures, leading his team to a 87-65 easy win against the lower-ranked Olimpic (#11, 1-16). Targu Mures needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 9 victories and 7 lost games. Martinic has a great season in Romania. After 16 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.9ppg (7th best) and assists with 7.7apg (best passer). He also has 2.2spg and FGP: 57.7%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Ousmane Barro (207-C/F-84) of UBT Cluj Napoca - 19 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Marko Sutalo (194-G-83) of Dinamo B. - 28 points and 2 assists
6. Kyndall Dykes (192-SG-87) of UBT Cluj Napoca - 23 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Danilo Tasic (207-F-93) of Dinamo B. - 18 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Filip Adamovic (183-PG-88) of UBT Cluj Napoca - 13 points, 3 rebounds and 11 assists
9. Igor Mijajlovic (192-PG-84) of CSU Sibiu - 21 points and 7 assists
10. Darius Hargrove (195-G-82) of Craiova - 20 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
