There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Second Stage in Liga Nationala.

An exciting game was played in Bucuresti. Steaua CSM faced CSU Sibiu. Host Steaua CSM (13-7) defeated guests from Sibiu (13-7) 71-57. The hosts trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 71-57. Steaua CSM outrebounded CSU Sibiu 39-19 including a 29-10 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American power forward Dave Dudzinski (206-92, college: Holy Cross, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds. The other American import power forward Randal Falker (201-85, college: S.Illinois) chipped in 15 points and 10 rebounds. American guard Kevin Hardy (188-93, college: McNeese St.) produced 16 points and 5 steals for the guests. CSU Sibiu's coach Dan Fleseriu rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Steaua CSM is looking forward to face Oradea (#4) on the road in the next round. CSU Sibiu will play against Pitesti and is hoping to win this game.

Serbian-Bosnian point guard Filip Adamovic (183-88, agency: 011 Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Vlad Moldoveanu contributed with 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. UBT Cluj Napoca's coach Mihai Silvasan allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. FYR Macedonian point guard Aleksandar Kostoski (186-88) replied with 22 points and 9 assists for Pitesti. UBT Cluj Napoca will play against BC Timisoara (#6) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Pitesti will play against CSU Sibiu and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Timisoara. Local BC Timisoara (10-10) was outscored by Oradea (10-10) 92-73 on Tuesday night. BC Timisoara will play against UBT Cluj Napoca and hope to secure a win.

It was a great shooting night for Oradea especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists.
