Milos
Bojovic
35-year old swingman Milos Bojovic (198-G/F-81, agency: 011 Sports) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Phoenix Galati and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 3 (Second Stage).
He had the game-high 27 points adding four assists for Phoenix Galati in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Targu Mures (#1, 9-11) 94-91. Phoenix Galati maintains the 2nd position in their group in Romanian league. Phoenix Galati is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. But it was their 13th lost game this season out of 20 games. It's Bojovic's second year at Phoenix Galati and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Bojovic has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 19.8ppg. Bojovic is in league's top in and averages solid 2.2spg and 60.7% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Martin Zeno (196-G-85) of Oradea. He is American guard in his first season at Oradea. In the last game Zeno recorded impressive 28 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course Oradea cruised to a 80-72 relatively comfortable win over Steaua CSM (13-8). The Second Stage is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Zeno is a newcomer at Oradea and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Kevin Hardy (188-G-93) of league's second-best CSU Sibiu. Hardy scored 21 points and grabbed seven rebounds. He was a key player of CSU Sibiu, leading his team to a 84-76 win against Pitesti (#6, 10-11). CSU Sibiu needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in Places 1-6. Their record at this point is 14 victories and 7 lost games. Hardy has a great season in Romania. After 22 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 6.9rpg (6th best). He also has 2.8spg and FGP: 57.0%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Mladen Jeremic (198-G-88) of BC Timisoara - 26 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Phillip Miller (185-G-91) of Phoenix Galati - 25 points
6. Jamar Abrams (201-G/F-89) of Craiova - 17 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Goran Martinic (187-PG-87) of Targu Mures - 24 points and 5 assists
8. Lamarcus Reed (196-G/F-88) of Targu Mures - 17 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Milos Komatina (206-F/C-84) of BC Timisoara - 18 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Travis Bureau (202-F-88) of Craiova - 16 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
