Danilo Tasic
Serbian Danilo Tasic (207-F-93, agency: 011 Sports) had a very impressive game in the last round for Dinamo B. and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 5 (Second Stage).
The 23-year old forward had the game-high 22 points adding eight rebounds and six assists for Dinamo B. in his team's victory, helping them to beat Targu Mures (#1, 9-12) 85-71. Dinamo B. maintains the 4th position in their group in Romanian Liga Nationala. The season is in a full swing, so it's only a dream for the team to make it into top half of the standings. For contrary they may face relegation if the situation turns from bad to worse. Dinamo B. have already lost 15 games and recorded just six victories. In the team's last game Tasic had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Dinamo B.'s top player in his first season with the team. Tasic has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 7.3rpg) and averages solid 53.3% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 31-year old American power forward Christopher Lee (206-F/C-85, agency: Aspire Sports) of Craiova. Lee impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 21 points and 13 rebounds. It was enough for Craiova to edge slightly higher-ranked Phoenix Galati (#2, 7-14) by 2 points 86-84. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Places 7-10. Craiova consolidated its place in top 3 of the standings. 15 lost games are too many comparing to just six victories Craiova managed to get this Second Stage. Lee is one of the most experienced players at Craiova and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Serbian Mladen Jeremic (198-G-88, agency: 011 Sports) of BC Timisoara (#5). Jeremic got into 30-points club by scoring 33 points in the last round. He was a key player of BC Timisoara, leading his team to a 88-67 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Pitesti (#6, 10-13). BC Timisoara needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in Places 1-6. Their record at this point is 12 victories and 11 lost games. Jeremic has a great season in Romania. After 24 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.3ppg (2nd best). He also has FGP: 54.1% and 3PT: 41.8%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Marius Runkauskas (189-G-86) of Steaua CSM - 28 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Kyndall Dykes (192-SG-87) of UBT Cluj Napoca - 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Randal Falker (201-F/C-85) of Steaua CSM - 16 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists
7. Ousmane Barro (207-C/F-84) of UBT Cluj Napoca - 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists
8. Adrian Diaz (213-C-93) of BC Timisoara - 16 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Vlad Moldoveanu (206-PF-88) of UBT Cluj Napoca - 24 points and 2 rebounds
10. Slobodan Dundjerski (188-G-88) of Dinamo B. - 12 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
