    Irkut - Univ.Surgut 49-84

Univ.Surgut are crowned Superleague champions. They fired past Irkut on the road to complete the sweep of the championship series. Universitet-Yugra outrebounded Irkut Irkutsk 38-23 including 29 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for forward Alexander Savenkov (205-82) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international swingman Andrei Ivanov (197-84, agency: Alti Sport) helped adding 19 points. The best for the losing side was Aleksandr Zakharov (203-93) with 14 points and point guard Gleb Gerasimenko (182-88) scored 9 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
