Dynamo Moscow seriously bolstered their roster. They landed Svetlana Abrosimova (187-F-80, college: Connecticut). The forward has recently parted ways with UMMC. The forward joined UMMC in 2007 from Spartak Moscow Region. Last season she had 2.8 ppg, 2.3 rpg and 1.9 apg for 20 games in Russian league and UMMC won the PBL title. Abrosimova had slightly better numbers for 13 Euroleague games. She had limited playing time with UMMC also in 2010/11 season. Svetlana Abrosimova also had stints in WNBA, Italy and Czech Republic. She has been the member of Russian National Team since 1997. She won the European Championship with Russia in Poland in 2011. Her stats read 5.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.4 steals per game at the event.

Spartak Vidnoe MR have quickly found the new head coach for the team. Alexandr Vasin will take over the Russian powerhouse after Pokey Chatman had decided to step down from the bridge. Spartak Vidnoe Moscow Region will have a new head coach next season. Pokey Chatman has decided to leave the team. She worked as head coach of Spartak since 2009.
