Spartak Primorye edged Sonic Boom from South Korea 82:69. The Russian team led 18-17 after the first period but lost the first half by 6 points. They needed a strong second half to seal the total victory. Michael Efevberha (199-G-84, college: CS Northridge) top-scored for the winners with 27 points and Troy Gillenwater (205-F-88, college: N.Mexico St.) added 25.
Zlatorog lost to Lokomotiv Novosibirsk 75:91. Pavel Podkolzin (226-C-85) top-scored for the winners with 18 points, while Anton Sayapin (205-F/C-86) netted 16. Makshantsev delivered 15 and Endropov Andrey scored 14. Lapornik Luka replied with 12 points and Brodnik posted 10.
Lokomotiv Novosibirsk later overcame Elektra 85:55. Pavel Podkolzin top-scored for the winners with 19 points and Pronin posted 18. Podvrsnik replied with 15 points in the losing effort.
Earlier Zlatorog exchanged victories with Temp Suzm. At first the Slovenian team won 79:72. Lapornik Luka posted 16 points to lead all the winners, while Sragan Dugum (206-F-86) scored 14. In Game 2 Temp Suzm beat Zlatorog 59:56. Sasa Mucic (202-F-83) scored 13 points for the Slovenian side and Danijel Vujasinovic (180-G-89) delivered 11.

CSKA will not renew the contract with Dmitry Sokolov (214-C-85). The centre joined the Moscow powerhouse back in 2009. Dmitry Sokolov posted 3.1 points and 1.9 rebounds per VTB League game last season. In PBL Dmitry Sokolov averaged 4.8 points and 1.5 rebounds per game. The centre also delivered 1.2 points and 1.0 board per EuroLeague game. Krasnie Krilya keep ambitious Sergey Bazarevich (agency: Alti Sport ). The Russian Head Coach signed a 2-year deal with the team from Samara. Bazarevich helped Krasnie Krilya to win the cup. Bazarevich won EuroChallenge championship title. He was voted Eurobasket.com All-EuroChallenge Coach of the Year in 2013. His Krasnye Kylia stole the trophy from Izmir.
