The Hungarian team started with 21-17 in the first period but could not keep the lead for good. UMMC bounced back with 20-7 and took 37:28 at the halftime. Moreover the hosts won the third period 19-16 and enjoyed 12-point advantage after three quarters. They added 22-11 in the last stanza to win the game. Sandrine Gruda (193-C-87) top-scored for the winners with 26 points, while Anna Petrakova (189-PF-84) collected 20 points and 12 rebounds. Silvia Dominguez (167-PG-87) netted 10, whilst Quanitra Hollingsworth (196-C-88, college: VCU) brought 9. Ieva Kublina (193-C-82, college: Virginia Tech) paced the visitors with 14 points and Hurts added 11. Chay Shegog (195-C-90, college: N.Carolina) delivered 10 and Zsofia Simon (180-G-89, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) notched 6.

Spartak Vidnoe MR have quickly found the new head coach for the team. Alexandr Vasin will take over the Russian powerhouse after Pokey Chatman had decided to step down from the bridge. Spartak Vidnoe Moscow Region will have a new head coach next season. Pokey Chatman has decided to leave the team. She worked as head coach of Spartak since 2009. Previously Pokey Chatman spent two seasons as assistant coach with the Vidnoe team. The US specialist led the team to two EuroLeague titles in 2009 and 2010.
