Pavel Podkolzin (226-C-85) put on an amazing game in the last round for Novosybirsk and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Superleague Player of the Week award for round 7. The 27-year old center had a double-double of 29 points and ten rebounds, while his team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team Spartak V. (#15, 0-6) with 25-point margin 89-64. Novosybirsk maintains the 4th position in Russian Superleague. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Novosybirsk will need more victories to improve their 4-2 record. Podkolzin has many years of experience at Novosybirsk, through which he has constantly improved. Podkolzin has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (7th best: 15.6ppg), rebounds (4th best: 8.6rpg) and averages solid 81.3% FGP.
