Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Russians who are currently playing abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international forward Andrei Kirilenko (209-81, currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA. He could not help the Minnesota Timberwolves (5-4) in their last game. Despite Kirilenko's very good performance the Minnesota Timberwolves were edged 89-87 on the road by the Charlotte Bobcats. He had a double-double by scoring 26 points and getting 12 rebounds. Kirilenko also added 2 blocks in 44 minutes on the court. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Kirilenko's first year with the team. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Kirilenko averages: 14.1ppg, 8.3rpg, 3.2apg, 2.2bpg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 61.3%(38-62), 3FGP: 53.3%(8-15) and FT: 67.5% in the nine games he played so far. He is a naturalized American. Kirilenko is currently a member of the Russian senior national team. He used to play for CSKA Moscow in Russian league.

   #2. Second place goes to an international guard Alexey Shved (198-88, agency: Alti Sport, currently plays in NBA) is a teammate of previously mentioned Andrei Kirilenko. But that was another game of his team in NBA which we would like to mention. Shved, who plays in the NBA. He was not able to help the Minnesota Timberwolves (5-4) in their last game on Friday. Despite Shved's very good performance the Minnesota Timberwolves were defeated 106-98 in Oakland by the Golden State Warriors. He was the second best scorer with 22 points. Shved also added 7 passes. It's Shved's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year: 10.4ppg, 3.1rpg, 4.1apg, 3FGP: 24.3% and FT: 82.1%. Shved is in the roster of the Russian senior national team.

   #3. The Russian player who performed third best last week abroad was University international center Ivan Nelyubov (207-88, currently plays in Baltic League). He was the major contributor in TU/Rock's victory against the fifth-ranked Liepaja (2-5) crushing them 87-55 in the Baltic League in Saturday night's game. Nelyubov scored 13 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Tartu Ulikool/Rock (6-1) is placed first in group B. There are only three games left until the end of the Baltic League Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Nelyubov's overall stats this season are: 8.4ppg, 5.4rpg, 2FGP: 57.1%(24-42) and FT: 73.3%. He played for the Russian university national team one years ago.

Center Timofey Mozgov (215-86, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov, currently plays in NBA) managed to help Denver Nuggets in a victory against the Utah Jazz (4-6) crushing them 104-84 in the NBA on Friday night. Mozgov scored only 4 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 20 minutes. The Denver Nuggets have 4-5 record this season. This year Mozgov's overall stats are: 2.0ppg and 2.5rpg in the two games. He is also Russian national team player.

Former U20 international forward Maxim Zakharov (198-89, college: E.Utah JC, currently plays in Belgium), who plays in the Belgian Ethias League was not able to secure a victory for VOO Verviers-Pepinster (1-5) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Zakharov's very good performance the bottom-ranked VOO Verviers-Pepinster was crushed 89-63 in Aalst by the leading Okapi ar. He scored 16 points, had 8 rebounds and dished 4 assists. It was his first game for VOO Verviers-Pepinster this season. Zakharov used to play for the Russian U20 national team three years ago.

   #6. Forward Stanislav Dikiy (201-88, agency: New Trend Agency, currently plays in Ukraine) couldn't help Ferro-ZNTU (10-4) in their game against Hoverla (8-5) in the Ukrainian Superleague. He recorded 8 points. Ferro-ZNTU was defeated 100-85 in Frankivsk by the lower-ranked Hoverla (#6). This season Dikiy averages only 1.5ppg. He is a former U18 international player as he played for the Russian team six years ago.

Fomin scored 7 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 16 minutes. Tsmoki-Minsk (1-1) is placed third in group G. There are only four games left until the end of the EuroChallenge Regular Season. Korolev cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. He scored only 2 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Lagun Aro GBC was defeated 76-61 in Valladolid by the much higher-ranked Blancos de Rueda (#7). Korolev has averaged so far 4.0ppg and 3.1rpg. He used to play for the Russian national team six years ago.

Center Ruslan Pateev (213-90, currently plays college basketball in the States) contributed to an Arizona St.'s surprising victory against the Central Arkansas 79-64 in the NCAA on Saturday night. Pateev scored only 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 7 minutes on the court. The Arizona State University has conference record this season. Pateev has been at the team for four years. He has averaged so far 4.0ppg and 3.1rpg in the eight games. Pateev is a former U20 international player as two years ago he still played for the Russian national team.

   #11. Former U18 international forward Andrey Semenov (201-90, currently studies in the States) couldn't help the JMU in their game against the Univ.of Calif.at Los Angeles in the NCAA. He cannot count Thursday's game as one of the best ones. Semenov recorded only 3 points in 2 minutes on the court. His team was crushed by 30 points 100-70. He has averaged so far 4.0ppg and 3.1rpg in the eight games. Semenov used to play for the Russian U18 national team four years ago.


The list of other players, who all have Russian passport but never been selected to any of Russian national teams:

   #1. Lazaros Papadopoulos (210-C-80, currently plays in Greece) led PAOK to an easy victory against the league outsider Kavala (0-5) crushing them 91-70 in the Greek A1 on Sunday night. He had a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting 11 rebounds. Papadopoulos also added 7 assists in 33 minutes. PAOK Thessaloniki (4-2) is placed fourth in the A1. But the season just started, so everything may happen. Papadopoulos is ranked fourth on the list of the best passers in the league with 4.0apg. This year his other stats are: 12.8ppg and 5.8rpg in the five games he played so far. Papadopoulos has a dual citizenship: Russian and Greek.

   #2. Dmitry Flis (203-F/C-84, currently plays in Spain) was the major contributor in a River Andorra's victory against the fourth-ranked Leyma Basquet (5-2) 73-61 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) last Friday. Flis scored 17 points, had 8 boards, handed out 3 passes and blocked 3 shots in 26 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. B.C. River Andorra (3-0) is placed in the LEB Gold. So far his team won all three games in the Regular Season. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. Flis belongs to league's best blockers and is ranked #3 with 1.3bpg. This year he also averages: 12.4ppg and 4.0rpg in the seven games. Flis is another player who holds two passports: Russian and Spanish.

   #3. Aliaksandr Pustahvar (202-SF-85, currently plays in VTB United League), who plays in Belarus could not help the league outsider Tsmoki-Minsk (0-6) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his very good performance the tenth-placed Tsmoki-Minsk was crushed 90-48 at home by the leading CSKA Moscow in the group B of VTB United League. Pustahvar was the top scorer with 17 points. He also added 8 rebounds. But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go. Pustahvar's overall stats this season are: 8.2ppg and 4.0rpg. He has both Russian and Belarusian nationalities.

   #4. Aleksey Adediran (204-C-82, college: Binghamton, currently plays in Ukraine) led Mykolaiv to a victory over the closely-ranked DniproAzot (4-9) 85-66 in the Ukrainian Superleague in Friday night's game. Adediran was MVP of the game. He scored 18 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 22 minutes. MBC Mykolaiv (5-8) is placed tenth in the Superleague. This year Adediran's overall stats are: 7.8ppg and 2.9rpg in the 10 games. He also holds two passports: Nigerian and Russian.

   #5. Nikita Khartchenkov (200-F-87, currently plays in Germany), who plays in the German ProA (second division) was not able to help USC Leipzig (2-7) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Khartchenkov's very good performance the bottom-ranked USC Leipzig was defeated 93-88 on the road by the higher-ranked Finke Baskets (#12). He was the top scorer with 24 points. Khartchenkov also added 5 rebounds. Khartchenkov is currently ninth on the list of top scorers. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Khartchenkov averages: 16.0ppg, 4.1rpg and 1.3apg. He holds both Russian and German passports. Despite Khartchenkov's Russian nationality, he previously played for the German U20 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Russian team.

   #6. Anton Indrikov (193-G-87, currently plays in Belarus) was the main contributor in Rubon's victory against one of league's weakest teams Svisloch 81-69 in the Belarusian Premier League last Friday. He was MVP of the game. Indrikov recorded 14 points and had 3 steals in 24 minutes. This year Indrikov's total stats are: 5.9ppg, 2.7rpg and 1.4apg in the seven games.

   #7. Anton Kazarnovski (205-F/C-85, currently plays in Israel) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Elitzur Ramla crushing them 98-74 in the Israeli National League (second division) in Tuesday night's game. Kazarnovski had a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 3 assists (was perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line) in 22 minutes. This year Kazarnovski has relatively solid stats: 13.2ppg, 7.6rpg and 2.4apg in the five games. He has dual citizenship: Russian and Israeli. Despite Kazarnovski's Russian passport, he previously played for the Israeli university national team and probably cannot be called to the Russian team.

   #8. Ruslan Nazmiev (200-G-87, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov, currently plays in Georgia), who plays in the Georgian Superleague was not able to secure a victory for Sokhumi (0-3) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Nazmiev's very good performance Sokhumi was defeated 75-67 on their home court in Tbilisi by the higher-ranked Batumi (#8). He was the top scorer with 18 points. This season Nazmiev has relatively solid stats: 10.7ppg, 3.7rpg, 1.3apg and 1.3spg. He has dual citizenship: Uzbekistani and Russian.

   #9. Albert Kuppe (195-F-88, currently plays in Germany), who plays in the German ProA (second division) couldn't help Oettinger Rockets Gotha (2-7) in their last game. Despite Kuppe's good performance Oettinger Rockets Gotha lost 69-82 in Goettingen to the much higher-ranked (#8) BG Goettingen. He was the second best scorer with 12 points in 23 minutes. Kuppe has averaged so far 5.7ppg and 2.2rpg in the nine games. He holds both Russian and German passports. Despite Kuppe's Russian nationality, he previously played for the German U18 national team.

   #10. Giorgi Kvelashvili (206-C-81, currently plays in Georgia), who plays in the Georgian Superleague couldn't help Batumi (1-4) in their last game on Friday. Despite Kvelashvili's good performance Batumi was defeated 75-70 on their home court in Batumi by the second-ranked Kutaisi. He scored 11 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Kvelashvili has averaged so far 7.8ppg and 6.2rpg. He has Russian and Georgian nationalities.
