UMMC have an impressive series of nine victories in a row this season after a Polish trip. The favorites won over CCC Polkowice 85:67 and improved to 9-0 record on top of Group C. The game was mostly controlled by UMMC Ekaterinburg. CCC Polkowice was better in third quarter 18-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded CCC Polkowice 35-22 including a 27-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when UMMC Ekaterinburg made 10 blocks. The best player for the winners was Candace Parker (193-C-86, college: Tennessee) who scored 21 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Sandrine Gruda (193-C-87) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks. Nnemkadi Ogwumike (189-F/C-90, college: Stanford) produced 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Belinda Snell (181-SF-81) added 20 points respectively for the hosts. CCC Polkowice keeps the fourth position with six games lost. UMMC Ekaterinburg will face Mondeville at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. CCC Polkowice will play against Lupa Promotion in Novi Zagreb.

Spartak Vidnoe MR have quickly found the new head coach for the team. Alexandr Vasin will take over the Russian powerhouse after Pokey Chatman had decided to step down from the bridge. Spartak Vidnoe Moscow Region will have a new head coach next season. Pokey Chatman has decided to leave the team. She worked as head coach of Spartak since 2009. Previously Pokey Chatman spent two seasons as assistant coach with the Vidnoe team. The US specialist led the team to two EuroLeague titles in 2009 and 2010.
