Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Russians who are currently playing abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international forward Andrei Kirilenko (209-81, currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA. He could not help the Minnesota Timberwolves (16-20) in their last game. Despite Kirilenko's very good performance the Minnesota Timberwolves lost 92-104 on the road to the New Orleans Hornets. He scored 17 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 37 minutes on the court. It was Timberwolves' fifth consecutive loss in a row. It's Kirilenko's first season with the team. Kirilenko has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 13.4ppg, 6.8rpg, 3.1apg, 1.3bpg, 1.5spg, 2FGP: 56.9%(140-246), 3FGP: 29.2% and FT: 76.0% in the 32 games he played so far. Kirilenko is a naturalized American. He is currently a member of the Russian senior national team. Kirilenko used to play for CSKA Moscow in Russian league.

Second place goes to an international guard Alexey Shved (198-88, agency: Alti Sport, currently plays in NBA) is a teammate of previously mentioned Andrei Kirilenko and both played together in the last NBA game. Shved, who plays in the NBA. He was not able to help the Minnesota Timberwolves (16-20) in their last game on Friday. Despite Shved's good performance the Minnesota Timberwolves were defeated 104-92 in New Orleans by the Hornets. He scored 11 points and added 7 passes. Shved has relatively good stats this season: 10.7ppg, 2.5rpg, 4.6apg, 2FGP: 43.9%, 3FGP: 31.5% and FT: 74.2%. He is in the roster of the Russian senior national team.

   #3. The Russian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Timofey Mozgov (215-86, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov, currently plays in NBA). Mozgov was not able to secure a victory for the Denver Nuggets (24-18) in their game against the Oklahoma City Thunder (32-8) in the NBA. He scored only 4 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. The Denver Nuggets were badly defeated 117-97 in Oklahoma City by the Thunder. Mozgov's overall stats this season are: 2.7ppg, 3.1rpg and FT: 68.4%. He is also a member of the Russian senior national team.

   #4. Forward Aleksandr Fomin (206-86, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in VTB United League) couldn't help the league outsider Tsmoki-Minsk (0-11) in their game against BC Nizhny Novgorod (6-5) in the VTB United League. Fomin cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. He scored only 2 points in 9 minutes on the court. The tenth-placed Tsmoki-Minsk was edged 55-54 in Nizhny Novgorod by the higher-ranked (#5) BC Nizhny Novgorod in the group B of VTB United League. So far Tsmoki-Minsk lost all eleven games in the Regular Season. This year Fomin's overall stats are: 6.2ppg and 2.3rpg in the 10 games. He used to play for the Russian university national team back in 2011.

Former U20 international center Ruslan Pateev (213-90, currently plays college basketball in the States) couldn't help the Arizona St. (3-1) in their game against the University of Oregon (4-0) in the NCAA. Pateev cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. He recorded only 2 points. The Arizona St. was edged 68-65 in Eugene, OR by the University of Oregon. They ended the series of three consecutive victories. Pateev is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fourth year in Arizona St.'s roster. Pateev's total stats this season are: 8.5ppg, 2.5rpg, 1.8apg and 1.5spg. He used to play for the Russian U20 national team three years ago.


The list of other players, who all have Russian passport but never been selected to any of Russian national teams:

   #1. Experienced Raul Lopez (183-PG-80, currently plays in Eurocup), who plays in Spain could not help Gescrap BB (0-2) in their last game. Despite Lopez's very good performance the fourth-placed Gescrap BB was crushed 99-76 on the road by the second-ranked VEF Riga in the group J of Eurocup. He was the second best scorer with 15 points in 20 minutes. There are only four games left until the end of the Eurocup Top 16. So now every game will be critical. This year Lopez's overall stats are: 6.8ppg, 2.3rpg and 1.8apg in the six games he played so far.

   #2. Lazaros Papadopoulos (210-C-80, currently plays in Greece) contributed to PAOK's victory against the eighth-ranked Apollon Patras (5-7) 68-61 in the Greek A1 in Saturday night's game. He scored 6 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. PAOK Thessaloniki (9-3) is placed fourth in the A1. Papadopoulos is ranked third on the list of the best rebounders in the league. He has very reliable stats this season: 12.3ppg, 7.3rpg and 3.3apg. Papadopoulos has a dual citizenship: Russian and Greek.

   #3. Aliaksandr Pustahvar (202-SF-85, currently plays in EuroChallenge), who plays in Belarus was not able to help Tsmoki-Minsk (0-1) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the fourth-placed Tsmoki-Minsk lost 64-74 in Oldenburg to the second-ranked EWE Baskets in the group L of EuroChallenge. Pustahvar was the second best scorer with 16 points. He also added 5 rebounds in 30 minutes. This year Pustahvar's overall stats are: 6.3ppg and 2.4rpg in the seven games. He is another player who holds two passports: Russian and Belarusian.

   #4. Dmitry Flis (203-F/C-84, currently plays in Spain) led River Andorra to a victory over the tenth-ranked Lobe Huesca (6-9) 80-72 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) in Friday night's game. Flis was MVP of the game. He scored 15 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 22 minutes. B.C. River Andorra (3-0) is placed in the LEB Gold. So far his team won all three games in the Regular Season. Flis is currently second on the list of best blockers with 1.4bpg. He also averaged so far 12.8ppg, 4.9rpg and 1.1spg in the 14 games. Flis has both Russian and Spanish nationalities.

   #5. Anton Indrikov (193-G-87, currently plays in Belarus), who plays in the Belarusian Premier League was not able to secure a victory for Rubon (8-6) in their last game on Tuesday. Despite his very good performance Rubon was badly defeated 82-64 at home by the lower-ranked Tsmoki-Minsk II (#4). Indrikov was the second best scorer with 15 points. He also added 6 rebounds. This season Indrikov has relatively solid stats: 11.5ppg, 3.5rpg, 1.7apg and 1.9spg.

   #6. Anton Kazarnovski (205-F/C-85, currently plays in Israel), who plays in the Israeli National League (second division) couldn't help Hapoel Kazrin (5-8) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Hapoel Kazrin was crushed 95-70 on their home court in Kazrin by the second-ranked Hapoel Afula. Kazarnovski was the second best scorer with 18 points. He also added 9 rebounds and 3 assists in 30 minutes. This year Kazarnovski has relatively solid stats: 13.9ppg, 9.1rpg and 2.5apg in the 13 games. He also holds two passports: Russian and Israeli. Despite Kazarnovski's Russian nationality, he previously played for the Israeli university national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Russian team.

   #7. Aleksey Adediran (204-C-82, college: Binghamton, currently plays in Ukraine) was the major contributor in Mykolaiv's surprising victory against the second-ranked Azovmash 79-75 in the Ukrainian Superleague in Friday night's game. Adediran scored 10 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Adediran's overall stats this season are: 9.9ppg and 3.9rpg. He has dual citizenship: Nigerian and Russian.

   #8. Nikita Khartchenkov (200-F-87, currently plays in Germany), who plays in the German ProA (second division) couldn't help NBC (7-11) in their last game. Despite Khartchenkov's very good performance NBC lost 83-94 in Jena to the higher-ranked (#8) Science City. He was the second best scorer with 16 points in 22 minutes. This year Khartchenkov has relatively solid stats: 12.3ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.3apg in the three games. He holds both Russian and German passports. Despite Khartchenkov's Russian nationality, he previously played for the German U20 national team and probably cannot be called to the Russian team.

   #9. Albert Kuppe (195-F-88, currently plays in Germany), who plays in the German ProA (second division) couldn't help one of league's weakest teams Oettinger Rockets Gotha (6-11) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Kuppe's very good performance Oettinger Rockets Gotha was defeated 97-85 in Paderborn by the higher-ranked Finke Baskets (#12). He was the second best scorer with 16 points. Kuppe's overall stats this season are: 6.4ppg and 2.3rpg. He has Russian and German nationalities. Despite Kuppe's Russian passport, he previously played for the German U18 national team.

   #10. Igor Simin (197-G-84, agency: Avi Zilberman, currently plays in Israel) contributed to a Beer Yaakov's shocking victory against the second-ranked Elitzur Ramla 80-77 in the Israeli National League (second division) last Tuesday. Simin recorded 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Simin's total stats this season are: 8.5ppg, 2.5rpg, 1.8apg and 1.5spg. He holds both Russian and Israeli passports. Despite Simin's Russian nationality, he previously played for the Israeli U21 national team.

Host teams show no mercy winning all games. Superleague 2 top team - Stroitiel Engels (10-4) managed to deliver another win on Thursday. This time they beat sixth ranked Burevestnik (6-8) 84-74. He had the game-high 30 points adding three rebounds and five assists for Burevestnik in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Stroitiel Engels (#1, 10-4) 80-78. Emporio Armani - CSKA 64:79 CSKA rallied to the 10th victory. They beat Emporio Armani in Milan to remain on top of the ladder. Aaron Jackson (190-G-86, college: Duquesne) and Dmitrii Kulagin (197-G/F-92, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) recorded 14 points each for the winners. Emporio Armani sank 23 points in the first term to take a 2-point lead. The teams traded baskets throughout the second stanza. The hosts arrived at halftime up by two points 38:36.
