CSKA, Khimky, Unics, BC Nizhny Novgorod and Lokomotiv won their latest games in VTB League.

Khimky hand Kalev/Cramo another loss in VTB League. The Russian team overcame Estonian representative 65:57 last night.
The guests trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 41-26 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for Zoran Planinic (198-G-82) who led his team to a victory scoring 12 points and 6 assists. Paul Davis (211-C-84, college: Michigan St.) helped adding 11 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Armands Skele (192-G-83) with 20 points and 9 rebounds. Senegalese center Bamba Fall produced a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks.
Tsmoki-Minsk lost to the defending champions of VTB League. The team from Belarus however showed a great game and was defeated only by 11 points.
The game was mostly controlled by CSKA Moscow. Tsmoki-Minsk was better in fourth quarter 19-4. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for Zoran Erceg who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points. Sonny Weems (198-G/F-86, college: Arkansas) helped adding 16 points. The best for the losing side was Pavel Ulyanko with 9 points and 8 rebounds and Vidas Ginevicius scored 12 points and 4 assists.
Triumph was beaten by Lokomotiv 78:89. Nick Calathes (198-PG-89, college: Florida) led his team to a victory scoring 19 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals. Mantas Kalnietis helped adding 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was Sergey Karasev with 20 points and Kyle Landry scored 14 points and 8 rebounds.
Neptunas lost to BC Nizhny Novgorod 72:90. The guests trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 90-72. It was a great shooting night for BC Nizhny Novgorod especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. Obie Trotter led his team to a victory scoring 17 points, 7 assists and 5 steals. Pavel Korobkov helped adding 17 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Valdas Vasylius with 16 points and 5 rebounds and Vytautas Sarakauskas scored 14 points and 8 rebounds.
Azovmash meanwhile lost to Unics 71:78. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game. It was a great evening for Chuck Eidson who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. Terrell Lyday helped adding 16 points and 7 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Lynn Greer (186-PG-79, college: Temple) with 18 points and 7 assists and Oleksiy Pecherov scored 17 points and 7 rebounds.
Zalgiris won over Enisey 86:61. It was a great evening for Mindaugas Kuzminskas who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 8 rebounds. Adas Juskevicius helped adding 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was Elmedin Kikanovic (210-C-88, agency: Beo Basket) with 14 points and 8 rebounds and Davon Jefferson (204-F-86, college: USC) scored 16 points.

Zenit Saint Petersburg (VTB) eye 31-year old American power forward Travis Peterson (208-85, college: Samford) for the next season. This season Peterson played at Avtodor. Valencia Basket (Liga Endesa) landed 31-year old American power forward Travis Peterson (208-85, college: Samford). He moved there from Avtodor in Russian VTB league where he played this season.
