Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Russians who are currently playing abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international forward Andrei Kirilenko (209-81, currently plays in NBA). He led Minnesota Timberwolves to a victory against the Philadelphia 76ers (22-30) 94-87 in the NBA in Wednesday night's game. Kirilenko scored 15 points, had 5 boards, handed out 5 passes and blocked 3 shots (went 6 for 6 at the free throw line) in 37 minutes on the court. The Minnesota Timberwolves have 20-32 record this season. It's Kirilenko's first year with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Kirilenko averages: 13.4ppg, 6.2rpg, 3.0apg, 1.1bpg, 1.5spg, 2FGP: 56.7%(177-312), 3FGP: 31.5% and FT: 77.0% in the 43 games he played so far. He is a naturalized American. Kirilenko is currently a member of the Russian senior national team. He used to play for CSKA Moscow in Russian league.

   #2. Second place goes to an international guard Alexey Shved (198-88, agency: Alti Sport, currently plays in NBA) is a teammate of previously mentioned Andrei Kirilenko. But that was another game of his team in NBA which we would like to mention. Shved, who plays in the NBA. He could not help the Minnesota Timberwolves (20-32) in their last game. Despite Shved's very good performance the Minnesota Timberwolves were badly defeated 127-111 on the road by the Oklahoma City Thunder. He was the top scorer with 17 points. Shved also added 4 rebounds in 25 minutes. It's Shved's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year: 10.6ppg, 2.6rpg, 4.3apg, 2FGP: 44.5%, 3FGP: 30.3% and FT: 73.5% in the 47 games. Shved is in the roster of the Russian senior national team.

   #3. The Russian player who performed third best last week abroad was former University international center Ivan Nelyubov (207-88, currently plays in Estonia). He was the major contributor in TU/Rock's victory against the league outsider Hito/Johvi (1-20) crushing them 90-51 in the Estonian KML in Friday night's game. Nelyubov recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 10 rebounds. Tartu Ulikool/Rock (17-0) is placed first in the KML. So far his team won all seventeen games in the Regular Season. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Nelyubov's overall stats this season are: 7.8ppg, 4.1rpg. He played for the Russian university national team two years ago.

   #4. Guard Teymuraz Babunashvili (185-90, currently plays in Georgia) managed to help Kutaisi Kutaisi in a victory against the league outsider STU (0-13) crushing them 96-41 in the Georgian Superleague on Saturday night. Babunashvili scored only 2 points in 21 minutes. Kutaisi Kutaisi (1-0) is placed in the Superleague. This year Babunashvili's overall stats are: 5.1ppg, 1.8rpg and 2.3apg in the 11 games. He has a dual citizenship: Russian and Georgian. Babunashvili used to play for the Russian U18 national team back in 2008.

Former U20 international center Ruslan Pateev (213-90, currently plays college basketball in the States) contributed to an overtime Arizona St.'s victory against the University of Colorado (8-6) 63-62 in the NCAA in Saturday night's game. He scored only 2 points. The Arizona State University has a solid 9-5 conference record this season. There are only four games left until the end of the NCAA Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Pateev has been at the team for four years. Pateev's total stats this season are: 5.1ppg, 1.8rpg and 2.3apg. He used to play for the Russian U20 national team three years ago.


The list of other players, who all have Russian passport but never been selected to any of Russian national teams:

   #1. Experienced Raul Lopez (183-PG-80, currently plays in Eurocup) was the major contributor in a Gescrap BB's victory against the third-ranked VEF Riga (3-3) 76-65 in the Eurocup last Tuesday. Lopez scored 15 points, had 4 boards, dished 5 assists and stole 4 balls. Gescrap Bizkaia Bilbao Basket (4-2) is placed first in group J. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Eurocup Top 16. So now every game will be critical. Lopez's overall stats this season are: 7.0ppg, 2.5rpg, 2.9apg and 1.1spg.

   #2. Lazaros Papadopoulos (210-C-80, currently plays in Greece) managed to help PAOK Thessaloniki in a victory against the 12th-ranked Peristeri GS (5-12) 63-55 in the Greek A1 last Sunday. Papadopoulos scored 5 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 35 minutes. PAOK Thessaloniki (11-6) is placed fourth in the A1. Papadopoulos is currently second on the league's list of best rebounders with 7.4rpg. This year he also averages: 11.9ppg and 3.2apg in the 17 games he played so far. Papadopoulos has a dual citizenship: Russian and Greek.

   #3. Dmitry Flis (203-F/C-84, currently plays in Spain) led River Andorra to an easy victory against the 11th-ranked Ourense (2-10) crushing them 81-60 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) on Friday night. He scored 16 points and blocked 2 shots. B.C. River Andorra (3-0) is placed in the LEB Gold. So far his team won all three games in the Regular Season. Flis is ranked second on the list of the best blockers in the league. He has very reliable stats this season: 12.2ppg, 4.2rpg, 1.3bpg and 1.2spg. Flis is another player who holds two passports: Russian and Spanish.

   #4. Aleksey Adediran (204-C-82, college: Binghamton, currently plays in Latvia) led Liepaja to a victory against one of league's weakest teams Turiba (7-18) 93-79 in the Latvian LBL in Thursday night's game. He recorded 16 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists in 27 minutes. Liepajas Lauvas (9-15) is placed ninth in the LBL. Adediran has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 16.5ppg, 6.0rpg and 1.5apg in the two games. Adediran has both Nigerian and Russian nationalities.

   #5. Aliaksandr Pustahvar (202-SF-85, currently plays in EuroChallenge), who plays in Belarus could not help Tsmoki-Minsk (1-4) to beat Okapi Aalstar (2-3). He scored 9 points (was perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line). But the fourth-placed Tsmoki-Minsk was crushed 100-76 on the road by the higher-ranked Okapi Aalstar (#3) in the group L of EuroChallenge. Pustahvar's team will play only one more game in the EuroChallenge Top 16. And now that game is very crucial. Pustahvar's overall stats this season are: 7.8ppg and 2.7rpg. He also holds two passports: Russian and Belarusian.

   #6. Alexey Chubrevich (212-C-86, currently plays in Israel) contributed to a Maccabi Haifa's victory against the closely-ranked GreenTops Netanya 79-68 in the Israeli Winner League on Monday night. Chubrevich scored 7 points in only 10 minutes. This year Chubrevich's overall stats are: 2.2ppg and 1.6rpg in the 10 games. He has Russian and Israeli nationalities. Despite Chubrevich's Russian passport, he previously played for the Israeli university national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Russian team.

   #7. Giorgi Kvelashvili (206-C-81, currently plays in Georgia), who plays in the Georgian Superleague was not able to help Batumi (3-11) in their last game on Friday. Despite Kvelashvili's very good performance Batumi was crushed 105-66 at home by the higher-ranked Olimpi (#4). He was the top scorer with 22 points. Kvelashvili also added 6 rebounds. Kvelashvili's overall stats this season are: 8.4ppg and 6.0rpg. He has dual citizenship: Russian and Georgian.

   #8. Igor Simin (197-G-84, agency: Avi Zilberman, currently plays in Israel) helped Beer Yaakov win their game against the league outsider Maccabi K/G 92-79 in the Israeli National League (second division) last Tuesday. Simin scored 16 points, had 8 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 35 minutes. This year Simin's overall stats are: 9.3ppg, 3.1rpg, 1.8apg and 1.6spg in the 16 games. He holds both Russian and Israeli passports. Despite Simin's Russian nationality, he previously played for the Israeli U21 national team and probably cannot be called to the Russian team.

   #9. Albert Kuppe (195-F-88, currently plays in Germany), who plays in the German ProA (second division) was not able to secure a victory for Oettinger Rockets Gotha (8-14) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Kuppe's good performance Oettinger Rockets Gotha was crushed 84-61 in Heidelberg by the much higher-ranked MLP Academics (#4). He recorded 11 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Kuppe's overall stats this season are: 7.4ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.3apg. He has Russian and German nationalities. Despite Kuppe's Russian passport, he previously played for the German U18 national team.

   #10. Anton Kazarnovski (205-F/C-85, currently plays in Israel), who plays in the Israeli National League (second division) couldn't help Hapoel Kazrin (9-9) in their last game. Despite Kazarnovski's good performance Hapoel Kazrin was badly defeated 92-73 in Ramla by the second-ranked Elitzur. He scored 12 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 31 minutes. This year Kazarnovski has relatively solid stats: 14.8ppg, 8.7rpg and 3.1apg in the 18 games. He has dual citizenship: Russian and Israeli. Despite Kazarnovski's Russian passport, he previously played for the Israeli university national team.

BC Khimki Moscow Region (VTB) re-signed 29-year old international guard Alexey Shved (198-73kg-88, agency: Alti Sport). He has played there for the last two seasons. In 14 Eurocup games he recorded very impressive stats: 22.1ppg, 4.0rpg, 5.2apg and 1.2spg last season. Shved helped them to make it to the quarterfinals. Khimky-Podmoskovye Moscow Region (Superleague 1) re-signed 21-year old center Rodion Ardislamov (215-102kg-96). He played there last season. But in three Superleague 1 games he averaged just 1.3ppg. He played in the final of Russian VTB Youth League. The previous (15-16) season Ardislamov played at Dynamo-CBK Stavropol (Superleague 2) where in 30 games he had 5.7ppg and 3.2rpg. BC Khimki Moscow Region (VTB) strengthened their roster with addition of 22-year old forward Ivan Viktorov (196-92kg-95, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov). He has played for the last three years at N.Novgorod in the VTB. But in four Eurocup games he recorded just 1.0ppg last season.
