FC Barcelona Regal celebrated the eighth victory in the EuroLeague Top 16. They held off ambitious Khimky in the Catalan capital for 8-1 record on top of Group F. Juan Carlos Navarro (192-G-80) stepped up with 19 points to lead the hosts. Khimky fell at 5-4 record in the fourth position in the ladder. Barcelona enjoyed a 21:16 lead ten minutes into the game. They stayed aggressive offensively throughout the second period. The hosts piled up a 44:34 halftime advantage. Barcelona kept their opponents at safe distance throughout the third term. They established a 12-point lead heading into the fourth stanza. But Khimky refused to give up. Loncar trigged an 8:0 run from Khimky as they narrowed the deficit at 4-point mark midway through the final frame. Monya cut the deficit to 3 points but Barcelona did not allow the visitors any closer. Juan Carlos Navarro scored six points and the home team coasted to the win at the end. Ante Tomic (217-C-87) delivered 16 points, while Erazem Lorbek (209-F/C-84, college: Michigan St.) added 11 points for the winning side. Paul Davis (211-C-84, college: Michigan St.) answered with 18 points and 9 rebounds for Khimky. Zoran Planinic (198-G-82) and Vitaliy Fridzon (195-G-85, agency: Alti Sport) chipped in 12 points each in the loss.

Bazarevich helped Krasnie Krilya to win the cup. Bazarevich won EuroChallenge championship title. He was voted Eurobasket.com All-EuroChallenge Coach of the Year in 2013. Toliatti (A Superleague) and in 2007-2008 moved to Dynamo Moscow (A Superleague). In 2009-2011 he continued with Dynamo Moscow (A Superleague) and then moved to Samara. Bazarevich was coaching Russian U20 National Team back in 2008.

Lithuania University Team won the third period 27-15 and then finished the game with 23-17 in the last stanza. Eimantas Bendzius (203-F-90) stepped up with 17 points for the winners and Adomas Drungilas (203-C-90) as well as Vytenis Cizauskas (190-SG-92) netted 15 each. Gediminas Orelikas (200-G/F-90) added 12, whilst Butkevicius had 10. Denis Zakharov (193-PG-93) replied with 16 points in the losing effort and Evstafev had 11. Alexander Zakharov (204-F/G-93) and Vladislav Trushkin (201-F-93) followed them with 10 points apiece. On Monday Lithuania U20 will take on Russia U20.
