The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute susprises and upsets. What a coincidence that all visitors won their games.

An interesting game for UMMC Ekaterinburg (15-1) which played road game in Orenburg against second-ranked Nadezhda Orenburg (11-5). First ranked UMMC Ekaterinburg had an easy win 86-69. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Nadezhda Orenburg. The game without a history. UMMC Ekaterinburg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Nadezhda Orenburg's 44. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when UMMC Ekaterinburg made 7 blocks. American center Candace Parker (193-86, college: Tennessee) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds. French center Sandrine Gruda (193-87) contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American guard DeWanna Bonner (193-87, college: Auburn, agency: Josep and Nicolas) answered with 17 points and 6 rebounds for Nadezhda Orenburg. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. UMMC Ekaterinburg have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 15-1 record. Nadezhda Orenburg at the other side dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. UMMC Ekaterinburg are looking forward to face league's second-placed Dynamo Kursk at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Nadezhda Orenburg will play against Dynamo Moscow and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Marina Ivanova (181-86) responded with 9 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Spartak Vidnoye. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Dynamo K. Spartak Noginsk lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 12 games lost. Spartak Vidnoye will play against Vologda-Chevakata (#6) on the road in the next round. Spartak Noginsk will play against BC Rostov and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

UMMC - Nadezhda 75:65 UMMC defended UMMC Cup title. They beat Nadezhda for the fifth straight trophy. Nika Baric (169-PG-92) posted 21 points to lead the hosts.
