The most important game in the last round took place in Ekaterinburg between second ranked Ural Ekaterinburg (16-5) and fifteenth ranked Spartak Vidnoye (4-17) on Friday night. Ural Ekaterinburg was defeated by Spartak Vidnoye at home 87-70. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Ural Ekaterinburg. Spartak Vidnoye dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Ural Ekaterinburg's 22 and made 23-of-27 free shots (85.2 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Andrey Chernysh (212-90) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Gleb Goldyrev (200-93) who added 17 points and 6 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American guard Chris Monroe (191-81, college: G.Washington) with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Spartak Vidnoye moved-up to thirteenth place. Ural Ekaterinburg at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. Spartak Vidnoye are looking forward to face higher ranked TEMP-SUMZ Revda (#7) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Ural Ekaterinburg will play against Ruskon-Mordovia (#5) in Saransk and is hoping to win this game.
Superlaegue top team - Universitet-Yugra (20-2) added another victory to their record. This time they beat tenth ranked Avtodor (9-12) in Saratov 75-71. The winners were led by Azerbaijani center Aleksandr Rindin (225-85, agency: Interperformances) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and Ilia Aleksandrov supported him with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Even a double-double of 17 points and 12 rebounds by center Artem Klimenko (214-94) did not help to save the game for Avtodor. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Universitet-Yugra have an impressive 16-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 20-2 record. Newly promoted Avtodor keeps the tenth place with 12 games lost. Universitet-Yugra will play against Novosybirsk (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Avtodor will play against Volgograd (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game took place in Ukhta where higher ranked TEMP-SUMZ Revda (12-10) was upset on the court of twelfth ranked Planeta-Univ. (8-14) 87-82 on Friday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of TEMP-SUMZ Revda. The best player for the winners was Michal Gabinski who scored 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Planeta-Univ.'s coach Alexander Gutorov used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was Ivan Pavlov who recorded 18 points and 7 rebounds. Planeta-Univ. moved-up to eleventh place. Loser TEMP-SUMZ Revda keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. Planeta-Univ. will meet Sojuz Zaretchny (#14) on the road in the next round. TEMP-SUMZ Revda will play against Spartak Vidnoye (#13) in Moscow and hope to secure a win.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 24: Ruskon-Mord. won against Severstal on the opponent's court 67-51. AltajBasket unfortunately lost to Ataman in a home game 64-72. Sojuz Zaretchny recorded a loss to Novosybirsk on the road 70-87.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 20 points and 9 rebounds by Anton Sayapin of Novosybirsk.


Dynamo MO - Ryazan 79-60

Sixth ranked Dynamo Moscow (13-9) crushed at home 8th ranked Ryazan (12-11) by 19 points 79-60, which is the biggest margin this round. The game without a history. Dynamo Moscow led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Dynamo Moscow forced 20 Ryazan turnovers. It was a good game for guard Aleksei Savkov (196-79, agency: Alti Sport) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 5 rebounds. The most important game in the last round took place in Ekaterinburg between second ranked Ural Ekaterinburg (16-5) and fifteenth ranked Spartak Vidnoye (4-17) on Friday night. Ural Ekaterinburg was defeated by Spartak Vidnoye at home 87-70. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Ural Ekaterinburg. Spartak Vidnoye dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Ural Ekaterinburg's 22 and made 23-of-27 free shots (85.2 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Andrey Chernysh (212-90) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Gleb Goldyrev (200-93) who added 17 points and 6 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American guard Chris Monroe (191-81, college: G.Washington) with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Anton Glazunov (182-86) scored 9 points and 8 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Spartak Vidnoye moved-up to thirteenth place. Ural Ekaterinburg at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. Spartak Vidnoye are looking forward to face higher ranked TEMP-SUMZ Revda (#7) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Ural Ekaterinburg will play against Ruskon-Mordovia (#5) in Saransk and is hoping to win this game.
