The Regular Season in Superleague 2 is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 6 rounds.

The most exciting game of round 27 in the Superleague 2 took place in Cheliabinsk. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 3rd placed Dyn-Magn.ChL (16-13) to seventh ranked Spartak St.Petersburg (12-17) 70-68 on Tuesday evening. The best player for the winners was center Ilya Luppo (200-94) who scored 20 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Forward Denis Hloponin (206-81) chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Vasiliy Gladyshev (189-83) who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Spartak St.Petersburg maintains seventh place with 12-17 record. Dyn-Magn.ChL lost third consecutive game. They keep the third position with 13 games lost. Spartak St.Petersburg are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Runa Basket (#8) in Moscow in the next round. Dyn-Magn.ChL will play on the road against Burevestnik (#6) in Jaroslav and is hoping to win this game.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Cheboksari. First ranked Tambov faced second-best Cheb.Yastreby. Guests from Tambov (21-7) smashed host Cheb.Yastreby (19-10) 82-62. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Cheb.Yastreby. It was a good game for forward Nikita Gresev (204-88) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Dmitriy Zagnoyko contributed with 12 points, 8 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Forward Nikolay Dolmatov (202-88) answered with 18 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for Cheb.Yastreby. Tambov maintains first place with 21-7 record. Cheb.Yastreby at the other side keeps the second position with ten games lost. Tambov will play against Dynamo-CBK (#4) in Stavropol in the next round. Cheb.Yastreby will play on the road against Stroitiel Engels and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Newly promoted Runa Basket stay dead last with 25 lost games. Burevestnik will meet at home higher ranked Dyn-Magn.ChL (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Runa Basket will play against Spartak St.Petersburg (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Stavropol was also worth to mention about. 4th placed Stroitiel Engels (15-14) played at the court of fifth ranked Dynamo-CBK (15-13). Dynamo-CBK managed to secure a 8-point victory 77-69. It was an exceptional evening for Tamirlan Bekkiev who led the winners and scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Dynamo-CBK's coach Oleg Filin allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Dynamo-CBK moved-up to fourth place. Stroitiel Engels at the other side dropped to the fifth position with 14 games lost. Dynamo-CBK's next round opponent will be league's leader Tambov on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Stroitiel Engels will play against the league's second-placed Cheb.Yastreby (#2) and hope to win that game.

The best stats of 27th round was 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists by Alexei Kotishevskiy of Stroitiel Engels.

Runa Basket - Burevestnik 70-85

The game in Moscow was also quite interesting. Sixth ranked Burevestnik (13-16) played at the court of 8th ranked Runa Basket (4-25). Burevestnik defeated Runa Basket 85-70 on Tuesday. They outrebounded Runa Basket 45-32 including 16 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for Pavel Gromyko (197-89) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 7 rebounds. The former international power forward Artem Pisarchuk (205-92) helped adding 19 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). The best for the losing side was point guard Kirill Sokolov (192-93) with 14 points and 6 steals and guard Arseniy Metreveli (189-95) scored 16 points and 4 steals. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Burevestnik maintains sixth place with 13-16 record. Newly promoted Runa Basket stay dead last with 25 lost games. Burevestnik will meet at home higher ranked Dyn-Magn.ChL (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. The game in Stavropol was also worth to mention about. 4th placed Stroitiel Engels (15-14) played at the court of fifth ranked Dynamo-CBK (15-13). Dynamo-CBK managed to secure a 8-point victory 77-69. Dynamo-CBK made 26-of-33 charity shots (78.8 percent) during the game. 25 personal fouls committed by Stroitiel Engels helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was an exceptional evening for Tamirlan Bekkiev (204-92) who led the winners and scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Naturalized Kazakhstan forward Nail Gafarov (198-88) accounted for 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Dynamo-CBK's coach Oleg Filin allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. 48-year old head coach Evgeny Pashutin (agency: BeoBasket) left Unics Kazan (VTB). Pashutin has coached there for the last three years. The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he coached in the final of VTB United League in 2012, 2013 and 2016.
