Nikita Balashov
Nikita Balashov
#1. This week's number one is an international forward Nikita Balashov (207-91, agency: Alti Sport, currently plays in Baltic League). Balashov contributed to an easy victory against the fourth-ranked BK Ogre (6-6) crushing them 97-64 in the Baltic League in Wednesday night's game. He scored 9 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and made 2 blocks. Pieno Zvaigzdes Pasvalys (11-1) is placed first in group B. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row.    #2. Second place goes to former U18 international forward Stanislav Dikiy (201-88, currently plays in Ukraine). Dikiy could not help VolinBasket (4-20) to beat Zaporizhya (10-13). He was the second best scorer with 8 points. VolinBasket was crushed 82-54 on the road by the higher-ranked Zaporizhya (#6). It was VolinBasket's third consecutive loss in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This season Dikiy averages: 7.8ppg, 5.3rpg, 1.3apg, 2FGP: 48.1%, 3FGP: 28.6% and FT: 88.2%. Alex Dubovitskiy
#3. The Russian player who performed third best last week abroad was former U20 international guard Alex Dubovitskiy (198-94, currently plays college basketball in the States). Dubovitskiy was not able to help the Chicago St. in their game against the Grand Canyon State University (4-5) in the NCAA. He cannot count Thursday's game as one of the best ones. Dubovitskiy recorded only 3 points in 21 minutes. The Chicago St. was crushed 82-59 at home by the Grand Canyon State University. There are only two games left until the end of the NCAA Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. This year Dubovitskiy averages just 0.8ppg, 2FGP: 25.0%, 3FGP: 25.0% and FT: 25.0% in 19 games he played so far. He played for the Russian U20 national team three years ago.

Nikolay Rogozhkin
Nikolay Rogozhkin
#4. Center Nikolay Rogozhkin (221-93, also represented by Alti Sport, currently plays in Spain) was not able to secure a victory for UCAM Murcia II (11-7) in their game against Myrtia (15-2) in the Spanish EBA (fourth division). The third-placed UCAM Murcia II (11-7) was defeated 73-62 in a derby game by the leading Myrtia in the Group E. It was UCAM Murcia II's third consecutive loss in a row. The Regular Season already ended. Rogozhkin's overall stats this season are: 4.1ppg and 3.5rpg. He used to play for the Russian U20 national team back in 2013.
