The games are now more important than at the beginning of the Regular Season. We may still expect few shocking results in upcoming 4 rounds.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Novosybirsk (15-5) on the court of fourth ranked Irkut Irkutsk on Sunday night. Visitors were edged by Irkut Irkutsk 64-62. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Novosybirsk. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Gleb Gerasimenko (182-88) who helped to win the game recording 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Aleksandr Zakharov (203-93) who added 12 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was center Alexey Kurtsevich (210-89) with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Irkut Irkutsk have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 13-7 record. Novosybirsk at the other side still keeps top place with five games lost. Irkut Irkutsk will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Novosybirsk will play on the road against TEMP-SUMZ Revda and is hoping to win this game.
Sixth ranked Sakhalin (12-7) crushed at home 8th ranked Kupol-Rodniki (9-10) by 28 points 90-62, which is the biggest margin this round.
