The Regular Season in Superleague 2 is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 3 rounds.

Seventh-ranked Burevestnik (13-19) made lots of trouble for second ranked Cheb.Yastreby (22-10) in Jaroslav on Saturday. The visitors from Cheboksari managed to secure only three-point victory 77-74. However their fans expected much easier game. Cheb.Yastreby made 26-of-31 free shots (83.9 percent) during the game. They also forced 33 Burevestnik turnovers. 25 personal fouls committed by Burevestnik helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was forward Evgeniy Bogdan (200-88) who scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Pavel Koltsov chipped in 10 points, 9 assists and 5 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Artem Isakov (192-87) who recorded 17 points and 5 assists. Cheb.Yastreby have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 22-10 record behind leader Tambov. Burevestnik lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 19 games lost. Cheb.Yastreby are looking forward to face Spartak St.Petersburg (#6) at home in the next round. Burevestnik will play against Dynamo-CBK in Stavropol and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Engels. Third ranked Dyn-Magn.ChL faced one of their biggest challengers Stroitiel Engels. Guests from Cheliabinsk (19-13) defeated host Stroitiel Engels (16-16) 84-77. It was a good game for point guard Aleksey Osokin (178-89) who led his team to a victory with 20 points (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Aleksandr Vertelov contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Dyn-Magn.ChL's coach Sergey Konotopov allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Roman Gruschenko (205-95) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds for Stroitiel Engels. Dyn-Magn.ChL have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 19-13 record having three points less than leader Tambov. Stroitiel Engels at the other side keep the fourth place with 16 games lost. Dyn-Magn.ChL will play against league's leader Tambov at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Stroitiel Engels will play against Runa Basket in Moscow and hope to get back on the winning track.

The game in St.Petersburg was also worth to mention about. 5th ranked Dynamo-CBK (15-16) played at the court of sixth ranked Spartak St.Petersburg (15-17). Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Spartak St.Petersburg have a solid four-game winning streak. Spartak St.Petersburg's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Cheb.Yastreby in Cheboksari and it may be quite challenging game. Dynamo-CBK will play at home against Burevestnik and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
