There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in Superleague 2.

An interesting game for Tambov (24-8) which played road game in Cheliabinsk against 3rd placed Dyn-Magn.ChL (19-14). First ranked Tambov managed to get a 9-point victory 79-70. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Dyn-Magn.ChL. Tambov forced 21 Dyn-Magn.ChL turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Ruslan Tumanov (195-91, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Nikita Gresev (204-88) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. point guard Vladimir Chichaykin (187-91) answered with 16 points and 6 rebounds for Dyn-Magn.ChL. Tambov maintains first place with 24-8 record. Dyn-Magn.ChL at the other side keeps the third position with 14 games lost. Tambov are looking forward to face Spartak St.Petersburg (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Dyn-Magn.ChL will play against the league's second-placed Cheb.Yastreby in Cheboksari and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Moscow was also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Stroitiel Engels (17-16) played at the court of 8th ranked Runa Basket (4-29). Stroitiel Engels defeated Runa Basket 88-74. It was a great evening for guard Anton Ageev (191-84, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Aleksandr Zaykin helped adding 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side forward Andrey Semenov (201-90, college: JMU) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Stroitiel Engels maintains fourth place with 17-16 record. Runa Basket lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 29 lost games. Stroitiel Engels will play against Burevestnik (#7) in Jaroslav in the next round. Runa Basket will play on the road against Dynamo-CBK in Stavropol and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Dynamo-CBK's coach Oleg Filin felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Artem Pisarchuk came up with 24 points and 9 rebounds for Burevestnik in the defeat. Dynamo-CBK maintains fifth place with 16-16 record. Burevestnik lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 20 games lost. Dynamo-CBK will meet at home bottom-ranked Runa Basket (#8) in the next round. Burevestnik will play against Stroitiel Engels and hope to secure a win.

In the last game of round 31 Spartak SP was beaten by Cheb.Yastreby on the road 76-69.

Cheb.Yastreby - Spartak SP 76-69

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Cheb.Yastreby (23-10) beat 6th ranked Spartak St.Petersburg (15-18) in Cheboksari 76-69 on Sunday. It was an exceptional evening for power forward Anton Bogdan (198-86) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Power forward Nikita Tkachenko (205-94) accounted for 23 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Forward Alexey Babushkin (196-94) came up with 14 points and 8 rebounds and forward Denis Hloponin (206-81) added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Spartak St.Petersburg in the defeat. Cheb.Yastreby have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place with 23-10 record behind leader Tambov. Loser Spartak St.Petersburg keeps the sixth position with 18 games lost. Cheb.Yastreby will meet at home Dyn-Magn.ChL (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Spartak St.Petersburg will play against the league's leader Tambov and hope to secure a win.

Avtodor Saratov (VTB) landed 23-year old international center Artem Klimenko (214-114kg-94). It is actually his comeback to Saratov as he has played here before. BC Khimki Moscow Region (VTB) re-signed 29-year old international guard Alexey Shved (198-73kg-88, agency: Alti Sport). He has played there for the last two seasons. Khimky-Podmoskovye Moscow Region (Superleague 1) re-signed 21-year old center Rodion Ardislamov (215-102kg-96). He played there last season. But in three Superleague 1 games he averaged just 1.3ppg.
