The Regular Season in Superleague 1 is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 3 rounds.

Top ranked Novosybirsk (15-6) recorded its sixth loss on the court of seventh ranked TEMP-SUMZ Revda on Monday night. Visitors were defeated by TEMP-SUMZ Revda 82-69. They made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. The former international power forward Alimdzhan Fedyushin (210-89) fired 27 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Guard Viktor Zaryazhko (195-92) chipped in 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Sergey Tokarev (189-85) produced 21 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. TEMP-SUMZ Revda have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain seventh place with 11-10 record. Novosybirsk at the other side still keeps top position with six games lost. They share it with Samara-SGEU. TEMP-SUMZ Revda are looking forward to face higher ranked Irkut Irkutsk (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Novosybirsk will play against Ural Ekaterinburg and is hoping to win this game.
We should mention about the upset which took place in Moscow, where higher ranked Spartak-Prim. (12-8) lost to tenth ranked MBA Moscow (7-12) in a road game 79-89. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Alexei Kuznetsov (205-84) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 6 rebounds. Andrey Sopin contributed with 12 points, 7 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Power forward Maxim Krivosheev (207-88) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds for Spartak-Prim.MBA Moscow maintains tenth place with 7-12 record. Spartak-Prim. at the other side dropped to the fifth position with eight games lost. They share it with Sakhalin. MBA Moscow will play against higher ranked Sakhalin (#5) in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Spartak-Prim. will play on the road against Universitet-Yugra in Surgut and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

They used an opportunity after Novosybirsk lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Loser Ryazan keeps the eleventh place with 16 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

In the last two games of round 25 Khimky-Podmos. was crushed by Kupol-Rodniki in Izhevsk 77-58. Univ.Surgut beat Sakhalin at home 87-73.

Center Vladimir Lidyaev (203-87) stepped up and scored 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and center Aleksey Karpeko (204-89) chipped in 13 points. Four Kupol-Rodniki players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Pavel Lobarev (191-97) responded with 16 points and forward Stanislav Zinchenko (203-87) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Kupol-Rodniki maintains eighth place with 10-10 record. Khimky-Podmoskoye lost eleventh consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 18 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Zenit suffered roster setback going into the season. Anton Pushkov(208-C-88, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) got sidelined with a serious injury. The centre suffered ruptured ACL and is expected to miss around 9 months of action. Anton Psuhkov joined Zenit back in 2015. He tallied 5.4 points and 3.4 rebounds per game in VTB League last season.
