There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in Superleague 1.

Round 26 most important game was a victory of TEMP-SUMZ Revda over 4th ranked Irkut Irkutsk 85-76 on Thursday night. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Irkut Irkutsk. Guard Viktor Zaryazhko (195-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. point guard Anton Glazunov (182-86) contributed with 13 points, 10 assists and 4 steals for the winners. point guard Alexandr Varnakov (185-92) replied with 24 points and 4 assists for Irkut Irkutsk. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. TEMP-SUMZ Revda have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position with 12-10 record. Irkut Irkutsk at the other side keeps the fourth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Sakhalin. TEMP-SUMZ Revda will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Irkut Irkutsk will play on the road against Ural Ekaterinburg (#9) and is hoping to win this game.

The former international power forward Artem Yakovenko (205-88, agency: Alti Sport) scored 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) to lead the charge for the winners and Igor Smygin chipped in 19 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. point guard Andrey Sopin (180-97) responded with 10 points and 7 assists. MBA Moscow's coach Alexander Afanasyev gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Sakhalin moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Irkut. MBA Moscow at the other side keeps the tenth position with 13 games lost. Sakhalin will play against Ryazan (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. MBA Moscow will play against Khimky-Podmoskoye and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 26 Novosybirsk beat Ural Ekaterinb. on the road 72-68. Univ.Surgut destroyed Spartak-Prim. on its own court 90-65.

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Novosybirsk (16-6) beat on the road 9th ranked Ural Ekaterinburg (9-12) 72-68. Ural Ekaterinburg was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Sergey Tokarev (189-85) scored 14 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Aleksandr Lavnikov (205-91, agency: Alti Sport) chipped in 9 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Guard Grigory Motovilov (193-98, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) responded with 13 points and forward Aleksey Ostrovskiy (202-93) scored 5 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Novosybirsk keeps a position of league leader. Ural Ekaterinburg at the other side keeps the ninth place with 12 games lost. Novosybirsk will play against Kupol-Rodniki (#8) in Izhevsk in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rather expected game when 6th ranked Spartak-Prim. (12-9) was smashed by third ranked Universitet-Yugra (15-5) in Surgut 90-65. Universitet-Yugra players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. Serbian Nikola Lepojevic (195-82, agency: BeoExcell) scored 31 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Alexander Savenkov (205-82) chipped in 7 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. American forward Justin Martin (198-90, college: SMU, agency: Interperformances) responded with 16 points and power forward Maxim Krivosheev (207-88) scored 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Universitet-Yugra have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Spartak-Prim. at the other side keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. Universitet-Yugra will play against bottom-ranked Urartu Yerevan (#13) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Spartak-Prim. will play against Samara-SGEU (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

BC Khimki Moscow Region (VTB) re-signed 29-year old international guard Alexey Shved (198-73kg-88, agency: Alti Sport). He has played there for the last two seasons. Khimky-Podmoskovye Moscow Region (Superleague 1) re-signed 21-year old center Rodion Ardislamov (215-102kg-96). He played there last season. But in three Superleague 1 games he averaged just 1.3ppg. He played in the final of Russian VTB Youth League. The previous (15-16) season Ardislamov played at Dynamo-CBK Stavropol (Superleague 2) where in 30 games he had 5.7ppg and 3.2rpg.
