Spartak-Primorie outgunned Samara-SGEU to take 2-1 lead in the series. Samara-SGEU was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for power forward Maxim Krivosheev (207-88) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Fedor Klyuchnikov (192-90) helped adding 17 points. The best for the losing side was power forward Evgeny Fidiy (207-91) with 8 points and 11 rebounds and forward Sergey Toropov (197-81) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

Lithuanian point guard Linas Lekavicius (186-84, college: American) accounted for 10 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. Guard Viktor Zaryazhko (195-92) came up with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and naturalized Uzbekistani center Sergey Karaulov (214-82) added 10 points and 9 rebounds respectively for TEMP-SUMZ Revda in the defeat. Five Universitet-Yugra and four TEMP-SUMZ Revda players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
