Spartak-Primorie overcame Samara-SGEU to seal their semifinal appearance. Samara-SGEU was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Maxim Krivosheev (207-88) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Fedor Klyuchnikov (192-90) who added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. At the losing side power forward Evgeny Fidiy (207-91) responded with 17 points and 9 rebounds and the former international forward Alexey Zhukanenko (210-86, agency: Alti Sport) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Four Samara-SGEU players scored in double figures. Samara-SGEU's coach Sergei Zozulin tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.

Irkut upset Sakhalin on the road to force the decider. Strangely Sakhalin outrebounded Irkut Irkutsk 43-27 including a 31-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. 27 personal fouls committed by Sakhalin helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Aleksandr Zakharov (203-93) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 9 rebounds. Point guard Alexandr Varnakov (185-92) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Point guard Aleksey Golyahov (190-84, agency: AproK Sports Group) replied with 20 points and Alexey Nesterov (204-88) added 13 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Sakhalin. Four Sakhalin players scored in double figures.

Univ.Surgut beat TEMP-SUMZ to win the series 3-1. Serbian Nikola Lepojevic (195-82) fired 32 points (made all of his nine free throws !!!) for the winners. Lithuanian point guard Linas Lekavicius (186-84, college: American) chipped in 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Maksim Polyakov (205-84, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Anton Glazunov (182-86) added 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Eskisehir Basket and Besiktas overcame Russian teams in Antalya. Eskisehir Basket overcame Lokomotiv-Kuban 72-71 due to a massive second half. They trailed 17 points at the halftime, but managed to seal a narrow win. Anton Pushkov sidelined for nine months - 21 hours ago
Zenit suffered roster setback going into the season. Anton Pushkov(208-C-88, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) got sidelined with a serious injury. The centre suffered ruptured ACL and is expected to miss around 9 months of action. Anton Psuhkov joined Zenit back in 2015. He tallied 5.4 points and 3.4 rebounds per game in VTB League last season.
