City of Edinburgh Kings SM won 2011/2012 season. In the Final game the team overcame Clark Eriksson Fury 89:69.
Kings storm into a 7-4 lead with a long 2 from Paddy Campbell, and a 2 and a 3 from Craig Reilly. Edgars later brought 10:7 for the winning side. Clark Eriksson Fury however stayed tough and closed the opening period at 16:16. Moreover they took 25:24 lead midway through the second frame, while Edgars Rekis nailed three for the score to 29:25. Both free throws scored by Edgars Rekis (200-F-84) on the back of a Falkirk technical and a long 2 from Kevin Anderson (189-G-81) saw score at 35:29. Another 3 from Craig Reilly (G) brought 40:33 at the half when the teams disappeared in the lockers.
Paddy Campbell (193-G/F-80) opened the scoring in the third quarter for 42-33 and then Lee took the score to 47:33. Kings managed to erupt with a 19-4 surge for a 59:37 advantage. An amazing quarter saw the Kings up 67:44 as they produced 37-11 in it. A lot of free throws from Falkirk saw the gap close to 75:59, but City of Edinburgh Kings SM was too good last night. They led the game to the victory and completed their domination.

Panthers take Chairmans Men Trophy - Apr 29, 2013

Portlethen Panthers claimed the Chairmans Men trophy with a 89-65 victory over West Lothian Wolves in Saturdays final. After a tight opening period, Portlethen established a lead in the latter stages of the 2nd Quarter on the back of some long range shooting and West Lothian were unable to fight their way back into the game. Kings secure Senior Men Play Off in final thriller - Apr 29, 2013

City of Edinburgh Kings emulated their female club-mates by securing a Cup and Play-Off Double in a nail-biting 68-66 victory over League Champions Clark Eriksson Fury. With the game tied entering the closing stages, Edgars Rekis (200-F-84), in what may well be his final game for the Kings, made two free throws with 18 seconds remaining to edge Edinburgh ahead.
