Scotland wins Group B of the U16 European Championship in Division C. The team overcame Gibraltar 70:41 in the game for the top place in the group for 2-0 record. The hosts of the tournament meanwhile finished second with 1-1 record.
It was a tough start in the game and the teams exchanged the lead several times. The guests grabbed 17:16 advantage and added 12:7 in the second frame. Moreover the second half also belonged to the Scottish side. They won the third period 20-10 and finished the game with 21-8 in the last stanza.
Gregor Gray top-scored for the winners with 17 points, while Winning added 16. Malcolm collected 13 points and 10 rebounds, whilst McKay delivered 6. Jake Haefner (185-G/F-97) finished the game with 17 points in the losing effort and Timothy Fava (176-F-97) posted 8. Jeremy Britto (187-G/F-96) followed them with 7 points in a loss.

National League Round 21: Glasgow wins their first game - 6 days ago

Glasgow can celebrate finally their first win this season after eight consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Tayside, where they defeated Tayside (1-8) 57-43 on Saturday. He may not be in the NBA but Fury's Austrian zone buster Adam Hammerschmidt made his own headlines days after Golden State Warriors Steph Curry broke the NBA 3 point shooting record with 13 threes , the Fury marksman hit 14 threes against Tayside Musketeers to take the Sony sponsored side to 8-0 in the Scottish Championship.
