Switzerland U18 send the Scottish side to the last spot at the U18 European Championship for Women Division B. The Swiss side finished the tournament with 53:46 win over Scotland and ended up on the 17th place.
Switzerland entered the court having 6 players in the roster who played in the game. They lost the first period 13-15, but recovered in the second period and after 15-9 grabbed 28:24 at the halftime. Switzerland looked better in the second half and added two narrow victories. They won the third period 9-8 and finished with 16-14 in the last stanza.
Ljubica Cutunic (186-F-94) top-scored for the winners with 23 points and 9 rebounds, while Alexandra Koch (175-PG-94) posted 11. Dijana Milenkovic (180-SF-96) notched 10 and Laura Perrenoud (189-C-94) added 5. Hilary Wood (163-G-94) finished the game with 11 points in defeat and Beth Mackie (170-G-94) had 10.

Coincidentally all hosts won their games. The game with biggest result difference took place in Falkirk. Local Sony Centre (7-3) beat 5th ranked Lady Rocks (5-5) 72-58 on Monday night. Sony Centre maintains second place with 7-3 record having just one point less than leader Edinburgh KK. Lady Rocks at the other side dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. The most important game in the last round took place in Falkirk between second ranked Sony Centre (6-3) and fourth ranked Edinburgh Univ. (6-4) on Saturday night.
