Scotland and Hungary open Sarajevo campaign in Division B of the U18 European Championship. The Hungarian side grabbed 76:44 win in Group A opener.
Sim gave Scotland their first lead and as it became known later in the game, the lead was the last. Hungary took control of the game and took 26:9 when Barnabas Kovacs (194-SG-94) closed the first period. Scotland looked better in the second period and managed to reduce to 6 points. Molnar and Coloman meanwhile scored for 39:29 at the end of the half. Hungary added 17-11 in the third period and then added massive 20-4 in the last stanza. Papp scored the final points for the winning side.
Benedek Varadi (194-G/F-95) top-scored for the winners with 20 points and 13 rebounds, while Barnabas Kovacs netted 14. Kristof Bognar (206-C/F-94) delivered 8 and Kristof Simon (183-PG-94) had 7. Matthew Wilcox (196-PF-94) replied with 14 points in the losing effort, while Jack Nicholson (180-SG-94) scored 11.

National League Round 14: Tayside still unable to win any game - 4 days ago

Bottom-ranked Tayside (0-6) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 95-56 loss to sixth ranked Dunfermline Reign (3-3) in Dunfermline on Saturday evening. Edunburgh Kings (4-1) recorded its first loss in St Mirren on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by third ranked St.Mirren S. (5-1) 69-60. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Edunburgh Kings. It was a key game for the second position in the league. St.Mirren S. have a solid series of four victories in a row. SONY CENTRE FURY 78 EDINBURGH UNIVERSITY 43 Undefeated Fury maintained their Championship form with a huge 35 point win in the capitol against student team - Edinburgh University. Not only did the Falkirk side produce text book offence they held the students to a mere 43 points with none of the Uni side making double figures.
